Revolution and the Internet
We mostly use the Internet for social network sites, entertainment and also for getting news from around the world. It became one of the most important mass media nowadays and it can be used also as a scope for starting a change and a revolution.

"The most famous teenager in the world"
Malala Yousafzai started writing her blog when she was about 11 years old. She described her life in Swat District ruled by Taliban, who had banned girls from attending school. She focused on women's right to get education, freedom and right to make their own decisions. On 9th October 2012, the girl was shot in the head and neck in an assassination attempt by Taliban gunmen while returning home on a school bus. After intensive rehabilitation in England, she stayed there and continued her education. She was featured on "The 100 Most Influential People in the World" list by Time magazine, won Pakistan's first National Youth Peace Prize and was nominated for the 2013 Nobel Peace Prize. Her activity led to many changes and one of them was the ratification of Pakistan's first Right to Education Bill.

Twitter Revolution in Tunisia
Tunisian Revolution (Jasmine Revolution) was caused by bad economic situation, unemployment and lack of civil liberties. It began in 2010 and ended in 2011. During that time opposition activists used Twitter, Facebook and YouTube to communicate and share information about protests and to post visual documentary materials as a proof of what was happening. The protestants succeeded and the
President Zine el Abidine ben Ali left the country on 14th January 2011.

Social Network Revolution in Belarus
Revolution through social networks” is a group that was created on Russian social network site, smiliar to Facebook, called vkontakte.ru. It is engaged in organising manifestations, but not typical ones with banners and behaviour not accepted by authorities. Huge amounts of participants are for example clapping , stamping, wandering or just standing on squares in the big cities. The militia does not approve this kind of activity. Very often they block the venues, give tickets and accuse people of minor hooliganism.

  1. The most important mass media for me is probably internet. Internet allows us to find every information very quickly. We also don't have to listen to guy who tells his point of view in tv, we can find pure facts, or we can read things that are similiar to our ideas. I think that internet is very good place to easily start a riot or revolution. At the Warsaw Uprising there where a lot of couriers, young men, who were running through the sewage system with informations. Nowadays rioters comunicate by social media like facebook or something like that. I think that this unviolent type of revolution is really stupid, becouse they just make fun from serious things. This types of manifestations, in my opinion, dont have any sense. If they want to have revolution, they should do the revolution, not circus.

  2. The most important mass media for me now is Internet because I don't have time to watch TV and I read newspapers sometimes two or three days after their proper date. Of course you have to know where to find a really good source of information on the Internet.
I think that it will be a part of every kind of revolution because it is a part of our everyday life and they way people communicate. Revolution always needs to spread information quickly and now we have that opportunity.
I'm not sure if it is more powerful but obviously it is a better way than any physical fight. And I think that it may me sometimes more powerful because it might last longer and use legal ways but make them so frustrating for the opposite side that eventually it will help change more. Without violence.

  3. The most important mass media for me is the Internet. It's so comfortable that other ways are far behind it. I appreciate that I can find information about almost everything I want, but I also hate that tones of rubbish that have to overwhelm you on every website.
Well, it's more than possible. If we try to catch attention on the network having birthday, learning to an exam and even buying new shoes, then especially people who strive to achieve something important will use it to make everyone in the wide world aware of his case.
Yeah, I'm deeply convinced it is so. The less violence and the more persuasion we use to revolutionise something the better results we'll get the more powerfull will our undertaking be.

  4. What is the most important mass media for you now? I think that internet. I don't have TV and I don't read traditional newspapers. I spend the most part of time on facebook, a lot of my friends is sharing news so the most important things are there. I also read some net newspapers.
Do you think that from now on the internet will be unseparable part of all kinds of revolutions? Yes I think that this is grat idea because in internet you can share a lot of things and comunicate for free. Tv isn't as independent as internet.
Do you think that 'unvoilent' type of revolution described in “Social Network Revolution in Belarus”part is more powerful than ones based on physical fight? I hope so because physical fight isn't the best solution and if we can influence in that way it could be great.

  5. Like for the majority of young people the most important mass media for me is Internet. In easy way it can replace all other. You have TV, newspapers, books, and other sources of information in one place and just one move of mouse divide you from it.
Internet become so inseparable part of our life, so well information carrier that it would be indispensable part of any revolution. What make you able to share information, problems and observation faster by the Internet? Nothing, today.
In my opinion it is much better. Physical fight may only make situation worst. Information and truth, these things scare government in such country like Belarus the most.

  6. Like most of us, Internet is the most important mass media for me. Mostly, because is more objective than TV for example. I can gain information from the whole world whenever I want.
Internet may be unseparable kind of revolutions because it plays a big role in our life and its influence is so strong. More and more people aren't able to manage with daily exercises without Internet.
I think that 'unvoilent' type of revolution would be more efficient than physical fight. Not always we must achieve the goal through the fight. First, people should try to resolve the problem by less drastic methods.

  7. In my opinion, the most important mass media for me is the internet. First of all it contains a part of everything. Television, communication, art, entertainment, work tool and others. If someone is organized and is difficult to disperse then the internet is a blessing. Internet not only will accompany each revolution but our whole lives. So yes. I always thought that violence can't solve any problem. Violence is not an act of courage or intelligence but stupidity. So also yes.

  8. Of course, the Internet is the most important media for me. And as ezelewska mentioned, the Internet gives us the opportunity to learn informations from different sources and thanks that we can get the most objective picture of what has happened.
The ideal of startring revolution by the Internet is good. On the Internet informations spread quickly and it is hard to control it by the government. However, in countries like North Korea or Iran the Internet is simply switch off. People cannot even check their mail box. So have a facebook account is imposiible. And how can they do a revolution? The Internet won't help them. As regards the 'unvoilent' type of revolution I don't believe in success of that. Revolution is a complete change of something. I don't see other way to do it than fight physically on streets. And then it has a chance. "Clapping , stamping, wandering or just standing on squares in the big cities" it is for me only symptom of a little protest. Not a revolution.

For me the most important mass media is Internet, I watch and read news there. I don't have TV and don't buy newspapers so it's my only source of informations.
Do you think that from now on the internet will be unseparable part of all kinds of revolutions?
Yes, because it's hard to send journalist in every part of the world, especially during war or riots. There is also a lot accusations of lack of honesty and professionalism of the media, that's why people prefer relate incidents by their own.
Do you think that 'unvoilent' type of revolution described in “Social Network Revolution in Belarus”part is more powerful than ones based on physical fight?
Yes, because in my opinion this is more powerful then physical fight, it gets to our mind as stronger then destroy everything.

I think yes, but on the other hand we don't know how many they know about us only thanks to the internet and one day it can be used against us in a different ways, in school, in job, around the family or a social media.

Single-sex education

A little bit of history Single-sex education was traditional and dominating form of education till 19th century. Almost all schools and universities were single sex, which in almost all cases meant – men’s schools. This situation started to change because of two reasons: emancipation of women (fight for equality) and introduction of massive education. The first mixed-sex boarding school in UK was formed in 1818, it was Scottish Dollar Academy, and in 1878 the first university- University College London, allowed women  to enter on equal terms with men. What is interesting, the first Cambridge collage, which admit men and women was founded only on  1964. Pros and cons The topic of single-sex education is quite controversial. Like always there are pros and cons, some of them are quite irrational, other have a scientific background. The most popular arguments for single-sex education: 1. Boys and girls are learning in the different way, so they need different progr
THE MOST TRUSTED  PROFESSIONS Many people say that their job is important for our society, but is it a trustworthy profession? A market research institute asked people about trustworthy professions. Here you will find its results. The Top Five Most Trusted Professions 1. Firefighters A 2009 poll conducted by market research institute GfK found that firefighters ranked as the most trusted profession in Europe and the United States with 92 percent of respondents fining them trustworthy. Perhaps it’s all in the job description—being required to step into the face of danger every time you head out for an assignment is not just admirable, it’s downright heroic. 2. Teachers In the same GfK poll that lauded firefighters, teachers ranked second with 83 percent. It’s a good sign considering that the people responsible for crafting the minds of our children are deemed trustworthy. “I think every teacher recognizes that they are part of a trusted profession—that parents

Does money spoil people?

Does money spoil people? There is a saying that ‘money spoils people’, which means that people who become rich also start being rude and nasty. Is this true or not? I do not like categorize people, all stories are different. Probably everyone knows someone who is rich and nice person, and someone who is wealthy and horrible…What can determine behaviour of these people? copyright:http://theundercoverrecruiter.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/money.jpg 1 .     First of all how they got their money. Some people are rich because they won the lottery and some of them because they are genius who made a discovery of new, brilliant solution. There are also ones who are rich because they inherit all wealth from their ancestors… It is not a rule, but I think that people who work hard for everything what they have are more stable and realistic than ones, who don’t need to do anything because they got everything for free (without dedication or hard work). They won’t probably understand
