Studyingis it worth it?
Studying smarter not harder

At the time of unemployment and the relatively low salaries some people consider choosing studies – of course it means the idea of studying at the university. It doesn’t mean only the field of study but the most it’s about study’s utility. Are studies worth it? Am I ready for starting studies? If it turned out to be a good option, which faculty should I choose? Unfortunately, the answer is ambiguous and not so simple.
A human’s perplexity apply to of course studying at the university, not to deepening knowledge or gaining some new abilities. The answer depends of personal expectations and the way that you single out. It is said that studies are the best option for some people who have plans for future. But of course, studies don’t guarantee us a stabilization and a working place – sometimes it turns out that you find a job which doesn’t look like you wish.
It is surprising that some young people give to justify not studying or not continuing with their education. Many show great apathy and see no sense in making an effort to learn.
Times have changed. Every employer require not only higher education but also professional experience.
Is study worth it? Of course! It is claimed that studies prepare students only for working in a pub... We can request that five years hard working and deepening knowledge brings us an opportunity to find such an interesting job at the club... So sad. Culture experts after graduating UJ come in for praise by Sarmacja Pub on Facebook for excellent cleaning beer mugs. In some newspapers you can find some interesting articles about unemployed people who graduated university. Of course, the newspapers love to beat on this.
On the other hand, some young people and their parents expect that studies may guarantee employment, good living, luxury and preparation for work. We should know that studies are full of practical preparing for profession and working place. But studies are still worth it.
Although some people have everything due to the efforts of their parents or themselves, there is no guarantee that that way of life will last forever. Knowing is beautiful. Comprehending is extraordinary.
Remember that studying opens doors and allows you to achieve better opportunities.
Studying is not memorizing facts - it is learning to apply knowledge in daily life. You only need motivation and effort. At the end of the learning journey no one will ever be able to take away what you have learned.

People after graduating high school expect that they could rational decide what they want to do in the future, how should they create their own life.
Studies give an opportunity to discuss in the public, organise your working place, research, look into some information, use various tools or material. Studies give also some social abilities. Whether or not you study geography, management, mathematics, you can get this kind of skills.
Therefore, you have to choose a field of study which fascinates you. If you keen on rocks or minerals – start study geology! If you like deepening your knowledge about secrets of human’s nature and personality – select psychology. Studies can be the best time in your life, if only you choose something that you are interested in!
Studies bring not only extra knowledge, experience, an opportunity to find a great internship. Internships are said to be the best beginning of gaining abilities and applying for a job. People with a higher qualification do tend to earn more than those without, however there are lots of other benefits connected with studying - like people you meet, the sense of achievement and obviously changes to your social and family life.
Studies enrich emotionally and socially better than in your working place or your own company. Student’s life is one of the greatest experience. The most valuable friendships has been established during studying. There are people with whom you learn, create projects or spend holiday.

A few good reasons for doing higher education

A degree or diploma usually improves your chances of obtaining a fulfilling job and can increase your earnings.
A higher qualification helps develop important skills like numeracy, communication and information technology, which can give you the edge in the job market.
You may be at a stage in life when you can study a favourite subject for personal enjoyment or because it is something you have always wanted to do.
You can study either full or part-timer, a lot of mature students choose to study part-time, fitting it in around their present work.

Personal benefits
It's not just the money there are lots of personal benefits from higher level study too!
survey of adults between the ages of 25 and 45 years old found that 60% of those in higher education thought that for getting the right job, contacts developed during higher education level study were as important as their qualification.
Surveys repeatedly show that people during studying gain personal benefits including: acquiring work because of the fact that people who graduated studies have higher level skillsirrespective of the subjects they studied, learning how to think, improving writing, numeracy, IT and other key skills, developing a broader view of the world, discovering new personal interests and activities, meeting new friends, self awareness and self discovery

Studieswhy? How to studying smarter not harder? – A great recipe of gaining abilities and having a pleasure without hard working

Why is it that some students study really hard, but aren’t the best in their age group or get “only” average grades? And why is it that there are other students who do not even invest half the amount of time and effort into their studies, but get good or even outstanding results?

Get a study game plan

You want to study smart, right? So, create a study game plan where you categorize your material for preparation into:
1. basic refereshmentknowledge should be repeated
2. revision and doing some exercises
3. intensive relaxationdoing sport, meeting with friends, watching videos, laughing and NOT thinking about learning

How to do it the smart way?
A clear goal that you pursue with your plan helps you to avoid many extra-hours spending on learning uneffective and focus on the important.

Mindset

The worst approach to learning
-  Using mobile phone, TV, music, chatting with friends, sharing opinions on Facebook and another social networks

How to study smart:
When you study, do it in a focused and proper way, avoid any things which can distract you!

Don’t Focus on Results
Do not demand quick improvement. Just complete it. That’s your goal.
If you make the mistake of judging your progress when you are frustrated.
Don’t stress about the results. Results come slowly. All you focus on is finishing your study time.

Is formal education a necessity? Most people are brought up to believe that going to school, getting good grades, working really hard are the steps you need to take to become successful. Some people are convict that attending to college provides them getting a good job.  In fact, some of the most successful people of all time in the history of our culture did not attend college, or dropped out of college. College will help you get a job, and some decent middle class money.

Successful People Who Didn’t go to College
Below is a list of some of the most successful people in human history that didn't attend college.

MARK ZUCKEBERG
Facebook founder  Mark Zuckerberg famously dropped out of Harvard his sophomore year to focus on growing the social media site. Originally starting Facebook just for Harvard students, people around the country soon became obsessed with the site. And today, the site’s cult following has grown to over a billion users around the world.

STEVE JOBS
The future wizard of Apple computers dropped out of Reed College in Portland, OR after just six months because of the undue financial strain it placed on his working-class parents' savings.
As he said, “I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life and how college was going to help me figure it out.”
MICHAEL DELL
When Michael Dell, founder and CEO of Dell Inc., was in college at the University of Texas, he started building and selling computers for people he knew at college. Soon, he dropped out and focused all his efforts on his business.

BILL GATES
The son of an attorney and a schoolteacher, Gates entered Harvard and dropped out two years later to found Microsoft with childhood friend Paul Allen.

KAYNE WEST
Kanye West was once a student at Chicago State University. The Yeezus rapper enrolled as an English student there where his mother was a professor. But after he turned 20, Kanye left school and released his debut album “The College Dropout”.

The Daily Caller has found some of the most influential people in America who dropped out of college, and are all the better for it. These people prove that you don’t need a piece of paper from a university to live the American dream. However, this kind of people dropped out of university because of the fact that: they have inherited from generation/family, have always dreamt about fame, fortune, pleasant living or they had plans for a future. If only you have an idea or parents who stand by you and your future is just provided, you can consider choosing studies.
The truth is that you can’t predict your future. After some time you will see your mistakes or good choices.

  3. In my opinion, the first advantage of studying is the knowledge gained on studying. We learn what the future will we need. Another advantage is getting to know new people and a new world. We can meet people here from different places. We can exchange experiences, etc. A third advantage is that the study is a small step to independence. Most of us come from other cities than university, so we learn what it is like to live without parents and their support. During my studies I find time for work and entertainment. It isn't that difficult. In the week after school I am working at such times what I can. And weekends are to entertainments. Studies aren't terrible :)

  4. Study have sense only when student need them to be good in his future job. I hate when somebody explains his weak grades saying: 'Bill Gates quits college and becomes the biggest businessman'. Yeah, but he's amazing, he has a plan, he founded a company, created a windows system and won the life. And you are fool if you compare with him. Real genius if have problems in school, it's rather because he hasn't time, or thinks outside the box. Well, if you don't understand some simply theories, you better learn a lot or grab a shovel right now!

  5. I don't like studying, because nowedays it's not concrete. We learn many useless things because their in study program. It's illlogical. But if i have to point out adventages it will be:
    - Meeting new people and beeing a parto of university society. It is told that people who we met durin studies could be our friends for the lognest time.
    - We can "learn how to learn". There are many deadlines which we should deal with. It helps us to organized our time.
    - At last we can get a knowledge about interesting literature.

During my studies I have a lot of time. I work in two places and also have time for entertainment. I thiink we need free time and entertainment because we learn more when we are relaxed.

  6. Studies are very important for everyone. In our times, when it's hard to get a job, when unemployment is bigger, many people want to educate as much as possible. I'm studying to. Also five months ago I got a job. It's hard to combine work and school, but I have two free days at school and go to work at these Days. In conclusion: "go hard or go home".

  7. When you study you're able to learn and understand part of life which interests you the most. After studies you can work as specialist in that subject which you love, because it's your passion. I don't understand people which choose studies only because of money. It's sick. Studying is the way to expand your interests and make money. Not just making money for making money...
I don't really have time for entertainment or work during studies, because I study at two universities, but I'm OK with it. I like to work hard and I don't like to be bored.

  8. These texts is really motivating, I will reread it before winter session's exams. In my opinion studying is about being organised. If you don't waste your time on unnecessary things like watching stupid videos on YT or watching "Warsaw Shore" in MTV, you will get a chance to read one text more, to learn one new word more. It's just about being well-organised.

  9. Studying is important for me. It brings me knew knowledges, friends and makes me more organized. And it motivates us to develop, some people can't study only at home, they need to be motivated by tutors and exams. Some pople, I would like to say, a lot of famous people reached something without attending a school or university. But I like to go to university, cause it's interesting. I study what I need and what I want.

  10. I really like studying. It's the best time in my live! I can be on studies which give me skills for my future job, I want to start next studies - yes, two in the same time. We are meeting people who can stay with us for rest of our live. I have met fantastic profesors, authorities but also people who had wanted to make my life more difficult. But I deal with it. Better - I started working and know I can earn not only knowledge, also money for my own needs.
Studying give us ability to start internships in places where they want only students from specific faculties.
I like my studies - ignoring the administration and all organization of my faculty.

  11. Studying has many advantages. The main advantage is that the studies can help in finding a good job. Second, the studies can develop our interests and teach many things. What's more, studies we can learn many interesting people with whom knowledge can survive a lifetime. Last year, I worked during my studies, but this year I have a very busy schedule and unfortunately I do not have time for this, but I hope that I will find time to part-time work. Time for fun, parties and meetings with friends rather have a weekend and sometimes a week

  12. In my opinion definitely it is. Firstly you broaden your mind in subjects you are really interested in. Secondly you can do and try more, like doing practices. The next thing is that you are more appreciated, although it's sometimes hard to find good job. Lastly if you have motivation you can achieve much more than you get to know on studies. There are also many things that can always help you in life, it doesn't even depend on type of studies.

  13. The biggest advantage of studying is student discounts. Definitely. However, the studies themselves are very useful if we choose the direction that interests us. We can expand our skills, gain new experiences, meet many new people. Additionally, if only time permits us, then we can work and learn at the same time. Then man has experience and education. And that matters very much on today's job market. Unfortunately, at the moment my plan does not allow me to take any additional work. I hope that it will succeed next year.

  14. Studying - it's worth! The most important advantage of studying is the knowledge that you can gain during studies. This is a huge adventure, when you're on a field of studies, which it's really interesting for you. I like my studies and for me - it's a pleasure. But, of course, exams and session times it's hard and stressful. Other advantages: a lot of wonderful people to meet, better opportunities to get job, discounts.

Yes, I have time for entertainment and other things which I like to do during studies. I deal with it sometimes better, sometimes worse, but I manage to do this. I'm singing in church, I'm a member of a thriving academic group, I'm in a science club, reading books, watching movies, meet with friends and spend time with my family. These things are really important to me.

  15. Interesting presentation! Yeah, nowadays we have to study to be able to achieve a perfect job for us. We can never be sure but still, without trying we wouldn't get anywhere. Studies give opportunity to learn something new, even not exactly related with your main field of study. But that's the way to improve your future CV and get a step closer to your dreams.

  16. I think that the studies have many advantages. The first is the opportunity to meet new, interesting people who can become our friends for life. It is known that nothing connects more than common interests. The second is new knowledge that will allow our development as a human being. But of course it will also be useful in getting a good job. And, of course, a chance to spend these few years in a valuable, interesting way.
Currently, I study two majors, but I do not complain about the lack of free time - I think it is a matter of good organization and skills of letting go, which is equally important.

  17. For me studies have many advanteges. Essential benefit is knowledge, but I think it is the tip of the iceberg - a lot of people move away from their houses. There are many academic circles where students can develop their intrests and get experience.

Single-sex education

A little bit of history Single-sex education was traditional and dominating form of education till 19th century. Almost all schools and universities were single sex, which in almost all cases meant – men’s schools. This situation started to change because of two reasons: emancipation of women (fight for equality) and introduction of massive education. The first mixed-sex boarding school in UK was formed in 1818, it was Scottish Dollar Academy, and in 1878 the first university- University College London, allowed women  to enter on equal terms with men. What is interesting, the first Cambridge collage, which admit men and women was founded only on  1964. Pros and cons The topic of single-sex education is quite controversial. Like always there are pros and cons, some of them are quite irrational, other have a scientific background. The most popular arguments for single-sex education: 1. Boys and girls are learning in the different way, so they need different progr
THE MOST TRUSTED  PROFESSIONS Many people say that their job is important for our society, but is it a trustworthy profession? A market research institute asked people about trustworthy professions. Here you will find its results. The Top Five Most Trusted Professions 1. Firefighters A 2009 poll conducted by market research institute GfK found that firefighters ranked as the most trusted profession in Europe and the United States with 92 percent of respondents fining them trustworthy. Perhaps it’s all in the job description—being required to step into the face of danger every time you head out for an assignment is not just admirable, it’s downright heroic. 2. Teachers In the same GfK poll that lauded firefighters, teachers ranked second with 83 percent. It’s a good sign considering that the people responsible for crafting the minds of our children are deemed trustworthy. “I think every teacher recognizes that they are part of a trusted profession—that parents

Does money spoil people?

Does money spoil people? There is a saying that ‘money spoils people’, which means that people who become rich also start being rude and nasty. Is this true or not? I do not like categorize people, all stories are different. Probably everyone knows someone who is rich and nice person, and someone who is wealthy and horrible…What can determine behaviour of these people? copyright:http://theundercoverrecruiter.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/money.jpg 1 .     First of all how they got their money. Some people are rich because they won the lottery and some of them because they are genius who made a discovery of new, brilliant solution. There are also ones who are rich because they inherit all wealth from their ancestors… It is not a rule, but I think that people who work hard for everything what they have are more stable and realistic than ones, who don’t need to do anything because they got everything for free (without dedication or hard work). They won’t probably understand
