Healthy lifestyle.

Nowadays it is a hot topic. Everybody want to be slim, muscular and healthy. People have a special diet, go to the gym and do a lot of different things to look good.

When it comes to women the most popular in our country is virtual coach. Of course I am talking about „Polish women’s coach“ who is:

EWA CHODAKOWSKA

Important role have also :

ANNA LEWANDOWSKA

Men prefer rather a gym.

Women want to look like this:

…and men want to look like this:

Everything is possible. Just wish!

Want to live a healthy lifestyle? There are plenty of things you can do,
from following a healthy diet to getting plenty of exercise.

GOLD TIPS FOR YOU!

1.    Healthy foods.

  • You should choose foods that contains minimal amounts of unhealthy fats. Foods that are high in saturated fats include pizza, cheese, red meat, and full-fat dairy products.

  • Select foods that are low in both sugar.

  •        Minimize your consumption of sweets.

  • Choose fruits and freshly-squeezed juices.
  • Eat fruits and vegetables for their high vitamin and mineral content. Try to eat plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables, rather than canned ones that often contain added sugar or salt.

  • Choose lean meat, beans and tofu for their protein.

  • REMEMBER ABOUT REGULAR MEALS!

2. Exercise.

To keep healthy we need to be active every day in as many ways as we can. Regular physical activity isn’t just important for our physical health. It benefits our social and emotional health too.

  •  Start and finish your workout with stretching.

  • Go to the gym 3 to 5 times per week.

  • You can also incorporate more activity into your daily routine by taking the stairs instead of the elevator, parking farther away from shops, and taking a quick walk on your lunch break.

3. How much sleep do you need?

  •    Newborns (0-3 months):
Sleep range narrowed to 14-17 hours each day
  •    Infants (4-11 months): Sleep range widened two hours to 12-15 hours
  •    Toddlers (1-2 years):
Sleep range widened by one hour to 11-14 hours
  •    Preschoolers (3-5): Sleep range widened by one hour to 10-13 hours
  •    School age children (6-13): Sleep range widened by one hour to 9-11 hours
  •    Teenagers (14-17):
Sleep range widened by one hour to 8-10 hours
  •    Younger adults (18-25): Sleep range is 7-9 hours
  •    Adults (26-64): Sleep range did not change and remains 7-9 hours
  •    Older adults (65+):
    Sleep range is 7-8 hours

Rules of good sleep:

4.  Avoid unhealthy customs!

  •     Avoid diet pills and other diet supplements.

  •      Avoid smoking and alcohol intake.

  •     Exercise in moderation.

5. Remember about hygiene!

Good personal hygiene habits:
  •      washing the body often;
  •      cleaning the teeth daily;
  •      washing the hair with soap or shampoo;
  •      washing hands with soap after going to the toilet;
  •      washing hands with soap before preparing and/or eating food;
  •      changing into clean clothes.

And don't forget:

What do you think about this topic?
Do you have a healthy lifestyle?

  1. Nowadays, healthy lifestyle is a conversation piece. I'm really glad more and more people follow this trend. They become aware of importance of balanced diet and physical activity. People who respect their bodies are definately more healthy and have a happier life.
I can proudly say that I also belong to that group. I couldn't deny I eat some junky food from time to time (I'm only human;)) but since i've started to care about myself I feel more confident, stronger and attractive. None of the candybar make me feel like this;)

  2. I think that your post is very interesting and it could be a great motivation for me to do something more for my body and of course for my health. Keeping fit is so important to feel a fulfillment and to avoid some diseases. There are more and more people who do sport and try to carry on a healthy lifestyle. Everybody want to be slender and feel attractive. When it comes to my lifestyle, I try to do sports at least twice a week because I love it. It is a kind of stress tamer. After training I’m so exhausted but also satisfied. Physical effort makes endorphins that’s why sport is so exciting. Probably I’m keeping a healthy lifestyle. I avoid junk food, I don’t drink carbonated drinks, I sometimes delight a bar of chocolate. I also try to smile more, to laugh and don’t care about some problems which are besides me.

  4. I try to lead a healthy life. But at university it is hard. It's hard to find time for the gym, etc. But I try to twice a week walk on fitness. I love aerobics because after all, endorphins are released. Even though you're tired of it you smile :) What about diet ... I don't eat sweets, for me it is a great success. I throw the most common stimulant in the world, I mean coffee. I drink water and juices. I eat a lot of fruits and vegetables. Well, I don't like meat. I don't know whether it is healthy. Apparently, sometimes you have to eat them, so inevitably I push a little bit.

  6. For many years I had a healthy life style. Now it has changed but not totally. I still try eat healthy. No fast foods, no pizzas and no sweet drinks like coca-cola. I used to training in the gym 3-4 times a week. Now maybie 1 or 2. I don't have time. For me the, most unhealthy thing is a lack of sleep. I don't like sleeping - it's a waste of time :P Key to stay fit is a normal eating and do sports. We don't need to be athletes.

  7. In my opinon it's good tendention that people are thinking, talking and studying about healthy lifestyle. One of the effects of influence of Amercian culture on world is tragic diet with eating shit, no food. It's good that nowadays Europeans are curing from these disease called "American fast-food".

  8. I want to have healthy lifestyle but it is very hard for me. My the best problem and mistake are candy. I try to be fit. I go to the gym four times a week and I love it. This is addictiv. I want to look good and feel good.

  9. This topic is really important. We have to feel ourselves good physicaly to feel good spiritually and be prepared for new day, work or something. Healthy lifestyle is becoming more and more popular. People have to fight with their addictions and I say not only about alcohole, nicotine, but about computer and phone addiction. Sometimes it really disturbs us to develop, to clean the room, it makes us lazy.

  10. I think that about a healthy lifestyle today is very on top. We have much to learn about the media. Many stars and celebrities lead (or pretends to lead) a healthy lifestyle, because this is the first very fashionable, and secondly beneficial to our health. In my opinion this is a very interesting question, but it is not so easy to follow the principles of a healthy lifestyle. As for me, it tries to have a healthy lifestyle and eat unhealthy things (fast foods and sweets), sometimes I workout (if I have time), but unfortunately too little sleep.

  11. I've tried to have a healthy lifestyle for a few months. At the beginning it wasn't easy to me to completely change my diet and force myself to go to the gym. But now I'm really crazy about healthy lifestyle. I feel healthier, happier and I'm proud for myself.

  12. I think that healthy lifestyle is important and it’s good to talk about it and promote. Percent of obese people grows, it makes more people ill (diabetics for example), makes them unable to work, need more hospital treatment and generates cost for country. What’s more healthier people are happier people.
I have kind of healthy lifestyle. I’m not exercising a lot but I prefer walk not public transport if distance isn’t to long and exercise 1-2 times a week. I don’t eat a lot of meat and it’s mainly poultry or fish. I like vegetables and don’t like soft drinks. I naturally prefer healthier food without convincing myself to this.

  13. I am trying my best to have a healthy lifestyle :) For me being healthy means eating right and exercising, so I am eating small portions five times per day. I introduced fruits and vegatables into my diet, fishes and dairy products as well. I exercise at the gym at least three times a week to keep my body fit, and also when the weather favoures jogging outside. Now this healthy lifestyle became my routine, so it is not a big deal for me to prepare in the evening 5 meals for next day or to wake up at 5 a go to the gym :) It is just a matter of habit :)

  14. I'm a great fan of healthy lifestyle and although I know these particular methods are well know by all, the original diet is essential part of life. It is still true that everybody try to be fit but when it comes to me I just want to feel good in my body. Who doesn't know the recipe for beautiful body? Drinking a lot of water, eating vegetables and fruits, running everyday, going to the gym or swimming pool? People don't just do it for themself but making this sort of things in their free time bring them prestige and admiration among others.

  15. I think that it is very trendy now. Many people engages personal trainers or people who write diet plans only for them. They are able to pay a lot of money for this. If it goes on me I try my best to live healthy, I do some sports, eat many vegetables and fruits and try to sleep about 8 hours.

  16. I think that the topic of healthy life is very important and I am happy that it is becoming more and more popular. Being healthy is now very fashionable. All young and older people want to be attractive. They want to imitate their idols, the people who inspire them. Increasingly, they are athletes and bloggers promoting healthy lifestyle, such as Anna Lewandowska or Ewa Chodakowska. I try to live healthy, eat good things, play sports. Of course, it’s doesn’t always go out, for lack of time or laziness, but it’s important to trying and not giving up.

  17. These days the subject of the article is very popular. Thanks to that, everyone knows what is healthy for his/her body and what can be harmful. It makes people's choices more conscious and reasonable. I hope that articles, films and education at school will use the subject of a healthy lifestyle even more often.

Although I think that following the rules of a healthy lifestyle is very important, I've a problem with this. I'm addicted to sweets and I don't eat many vegetables. Doing sports rarely appears in my plan of the day. It's also difficult for me to organize time for regular sleep. I often learn at night, so I haven't much time to rest and sleep. I know it's bad for my body, but I don't have a strong will to change it. It's paradoxical - I can motivate myself to long learning and doing many tasks for many weeks, but I can't abandon eat another chocolate. :(

  18. Currently, a lot is heard about a healthy lifestyle. My feelings on this subject are mixed. On the one hand, sometimes it seems to me that the media and society impose a healthy lifestyle on us. And yet no one must want to curl up and go to the gym.
And on the other hand, depending on how we live, our health depends (and we all want to be healthy).
Personally, I try to eat healthy. I try to prepare meals from the least processed products, eat quite regularly and in small quantities. I also go to the gym about 3-4 times a week.

  19. I guess that healthy lifestyle is important and popular today. More and more people decided to go to the gym or do jogging. Unfortunately, doing sports without diet don’t help you to be healthy and fit. I think that I have a healthy lifestyle to some extent. I don’t eat meals which contains lots of unhealthy fats. When I cook a dinner I use high-quality products and plenty of vegetables. Having an itch for sweets I eat fruits or I prepare fruit mousse. Paying attention to a diet is reasonable and can provide good physical and mental well-being.

  20. My opinion about healthy life style is very simple. For me it's a kind of smoke and mirrors. Decades ago people were also good at maintaining a good figure, everything depends on motivation and what you want. For me such people as Chodakowska or Lewandowska is already too much and this has become overwhelmed and it will pass just likefor example fashion for wide pants. Nowadays people are overreacting sometimes with this"healthy diet" there are a lot of people who likes to eat and for them it is a pleasure, they likes what they look like and if anyone has a problem with that it his or her problem. Keeping a figure should be a personal matter for everyone, not a fashion. Do I have a healthy life style? Yes, I think I have I ate 4 meals per day and exercises 3 times per week but from time to time if I want something sweet I do not hesitate. And you know what I feel very good with that.

  21. Nowadays healthy eating is very fashionable. I am happy about this because it will help people live well and healthy. I often pay attention to what I eat and in what quantities, but I do not think that I lead a very healthy lifestyle. I lead a normal lifestyle, one that does not harm my health, but I do not see any major changes in my body. In truth, comparing how I felt and looked a few years ago, and how it changed today, I see a huge difference. By changing a few eating habits you can help yourself! However, do not go wrong with this healthy eating ... Let's sometimes have a pizza, like I do now. :)

  22. I think that healthy lifestyle is important , but sometimes it is hard to keep fit , not eat meals with saturated fats etc. Sometimes we really don't have a time to go to gym, I know that someone will say "If you really want, you will find the time" , but true is said. We have work, studies, familiy ,friends, moreover in the wintertime we often are sick, and when we have moment of free time, we really want to get rest. Talking about my lifestyle, I can't say that it is in hundred percent healthy. I try to keep fit. In spirng, summer and autumn I regularly run. I love running like forrest gump. This activity enable me to chill out, but in the winter I can't do it because I have weak immunological system. I also try to do exercise in home but I prefer outdoor activity. On the other hand I often eat fast food, when i can't eat normal dinner at home, sometimes I go to party with friends , so I think that my lifestyle is middling healthy.

  23. I really enjoy all this health topic. But the problem is that it became a kind of fashion and then people don't keep moderation. I think that eating healthy (lots of fruits and vegetables, drinking water instead of sweet liquids) is great, but we need to know, that if we eat pizza once a week, nothing bad will happen. Just relax and enjoy your healthy lifestyle, without all this paranoia :)
I also think that sport is something really wonderful and I'm glad that lots of people want to get involved into this. Unfortunately I need more discipline, cause my sport-plans are usually instantaneous :(
About sleep - sure, you should sleep about 8h per day, but for example I am never rested - it doesn't matter if I sleep 4 or 8 hours.

  24. I believe that the healthy lifestyle is a really important topic because it affects our whole life, both our body and our psyche. Unfortunately, although there has been written and talked about this topic, many people (including me) don't respect all rules of a healthy lifestyle. We sometimes haven't got a motivation to make exercises or we prefer to go to fast-foods than preapare lunch by ourselves. However, I think that my lifestyle isn't very bad. I drink rather water than sweet liquids and eat a lot of fruits everyday.

  25. Healthy lifestyle - now it's really hot topic. It's kind of trend. I agree with the author of this article. It's really important to health when you eat a lot of vegetables and fruits, when you eat right, healthy foods, when you get enough sleep, do exercises or sports, remember about hygiene and try to not stress yourself. Everything it's really easy in theory, but in practice a lot of people can't do this right. We know about this and remember this rules, but still - sometimes it's really hard to do in daily life.

  26. Of course it's good to be healthy, but it's not so easy. Healthy eco food is almost always more expensive, gyms are paid, and people are lazy, yet still we all want to be fit. It's so hard to motivate yourself to change your lifestyle that I envy successful ones.

  27. I think that advices presented here are quite good although most of them I have already heard. I must disagree that everyone wants to be slim and muscular. For me its enough to be healthy. I do my best to eat healthy food but going to gym is a lost of time in my opinion. But everyone can do whatever he wants with his own health, can't he?

  28. This blog is full of worthwhile information. Although, it is claimed that everybody want to be slim and attractive, not all is motivated enough to exercise. It is true that both women and men has an idol, whom they look up to. Unluckily, I do not follow a healthy diet. I worship cheese, pizza and hamburgers. Barely can I reduce sweets and sugar. Generally speaking I do not mind eating fruits and vegetables but I strongly prefer jells, chips and fizzy drinks. As for exercising I avoid it because it is too exhausting. Nevertheless, I have just read a number of precious tips. Regular meals seem to be not only efficient but also effortless. What should I add is that sleeping about 7 and 9 hours speak to me incredibly.

  29. It’s very important to keep yourself healthy, especially when you are young. Many people think that they have time to do sports, keep diet etc. but it isn’t completely true. Bad eating habits are hard to change in your old age and it’s often too late. You start when you have already got high cholesterol, atherosclerosis or some other diseases. Prevention is better than cure. It’s easy to say and I know it. I have the same problem- I try to eat healthy, drink water but I just can’t provide myself proper, regular sleep. But maybe it’s just student’s thing? Nevertheless I try, and this is the most important thing- to keep trying.

  30. I think that this topic is very popular. Nowadays a lof of people choose their plan for a New Year. The most popular one is to lose your weight or to start exercising. People want to be attractive and similar to their idols. A lot of bloggers promote healthy lifestyle and thanks to them other people want to be like them. But there is some people who do not like exercising, like me. I think that I have healthy life style. Despite the fact that I do not exercise at home. I also do not go to the gym. But what I do for my health is to eat a lof of fruits and vegetable and sleep a lot and what is important I have some rutine when I go to sleep and wake up.

  31. I agree with every point contained in this presentation. The healthy lifestyle is very important to be slim or muscular. Exercises, healthy eating habits, a lot of sleep and stress relief are the key to better well-being. All of us should follow these rules, not only people who care about their appearance.

  32. I think post is very valuable because it describes the most important principles of a healthy lifestyle. Personally, I try to follow all these rules, but I must admit that I have a problem with the appropriate length of sleep. I study in two directions, I also want to use my free time - read books, meet friends, go to the cinema. Therefore, I often do not sleep until late. However, I eat healthy, exercise, care for hygiene and meet most of the rules - I can say that I live healthy.

Im sure that healthy lifestyle is a good change, really we take care about our health, have to check-up yourself, eat healthy also. But sometimes this obsession could be dangerous, we should live with common sense and always listen our organism.

    1. Nowadays healthy lifestyle is very good trend! I agree with everything what is said. There are many useful hints! I think that the most important is food. When we eat healthy food we feel better, looks better, our skin looks healthy and we don't have problems with stomach! But nowadays is very hard to eat in proper way because of lack of time. But for example my New Year's resolution is to eat better, don't eat sugar and don't drink alcohol, I hope that I will manage. Maybe the result will be my motivaion! And of course we cannot forget about sports! We have to do sports if we seat all day on the chair!

  35. It is really important to stay healthy, because it can make us able to do more things. It can also help in being mentally healthy. I think, we can't exaggerate, though. Some people devote too much to healthy lifestyle and keep being unhappy.
I try to be active and I exercise a bit, but I'm also a seet tooth. Maybe I should make some New Year's resolutions.

Single-sex education

A little bit of history Single-sex education was traditional and dominating form of education till 19th century. Almost all schools and universities were single sex, which in almost all cases meant – men’s schools. This situation started to change because of two reasons: emancipation of women (fight for equality) and introduction of massive education. The first mixed-sex boarding school in UK was formed in 1818, it was Scottish Dollar Academy, and in 1878 the first university- University College London, allowed women  to enter on equal terms with men. What is interesting, the first Cambridge collage, which admit men and women was founded only on  1964. Pros and cons The topic of single-sex education is quite controversial. Like always there are pros and cons, some of them are quite irrational, other have a scientific background. The most popular arguments for single-sex education: 1. Boys and girls are learning in the different way, so they need different progr
THE MOST TRUSTED  PROFESSIONS Many people say that their job is important for our society, but is it a trustworthy profession? A market research institute asked people about trustworthy professions. Here you will find its results. The Top Five Most Trusted Professions 1. Firefighters A 2009 poll conducted by market research institute GfK found that firefighters ranked as the most trusted profession in Europe and the United States with 92 percent of respondents fining them trustworthy. Perhaps it’s all in the job description—being required to step into the face of danger every time you head out for an assignment is not just admirable, it’s downright heroic. 2. Teachers In the same GfK poll that lauded firefighters, teachers ranked second with 83 percent. It’s a good sign considering that the people responsible for crafting the minds of our children are deemed trustworthy. “I think every teacher recognizes that they are part of a trusted profession—that parents

Does money spoil people?

Does money spoil people? There is a saying that ‘money spoils people’, which means that people who become rich also start being rude and nasty. Is this true or not? I do not like categorize people, all stories are different. Probably everyone knows someone who is rich and nice person, and someone who is wealthy and horrible…What can determine behaviour of these people? copyright:http://theundercoverrecruiter.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/money.jpg 1 .     First of all how they got their money. Some people are rich because they won the lottery and some of them because they are genius who made a discovery of new, brilliant solution. There are also ones who are rich because they inherit all wealth from their ancestors… It is not a rule, but I think that people who work hard for everything what they have are more stable and realistic than ones, who don’t need to do anything because they got everything for free (without dedication or hard work). They won’t probably understand
