Most unusual places to travel

Nowadays more and more places are available for tourists to travel. Better and better access to everything, convenient ways of transport, a lot of possibilities enable people to visit different parts of the world and make people curious about unknown.
But in fact, what makes people want to travel? What are the reasons that place is considered as unusual?
1. Firstly, people want to experience things that they don’t experience in everyday life.
2. A lot of people like to feel adrenaline, do things which are risky and a trip can be a great way to do something extraordinary and crazy.

First photo- rafting in Turkey, second- climbing in China in Hua Shan, the route going to the hill of the mountain is considered as one of the most difficult in the world.

3.People travel to discover world, to learn new culture, meet new people, get some new experiences. For sure place is unusual when we can see something totally new, unbelievable, something we see in the picture or read in the book or newspaper

Lovely beaches in Zanzibar, clear water, palm trees, delicious food, sea fruits, ideal place for fishing, diving and swimming with dolphins, beautiful coral reef. It is a place famous for wide variety of spices.

4.In our everyday life, everything is the same. That’s why very often people choose for their destinations some exotic places. There are exotic plants, wild animals, hot climate- surrounding is new, unusual- we can’t meet an elephant or monkey in Warsaw (except zoo of course)

Safari in Kenia. National Serengeti Park. A lot of wild animals, be careful they can be dangerous;)

5.While travelling we can see how other people live, how their towns, villages look like, what conditions they have at homes. And many times we can see something totally shocking, what makes we start appreciate what we have…

Maasai village. They lead nomadic way of life, they build primitive houses because they move very often and are very very poor. Wealth is measured by the amount of children and cattle that the oldest man in the group has. Because there are a lot of children older ones take care of younger.

6.We can see a lot of amazing places created by a nature on its own, places which are beautiful, incredible and for sure couldn’t have been done by a human.
The most popular waterfall in the world. 3 millions liters of water per second is falling down from 100 meters high and making amazing impression. You can come close to it on a boat, but be prepared that you will be whole wet;)

All these reasons cause that people want to travel and that places we travel to are unusual. Each of us need something different to consider place as unusual but in general- for everybody unusual place is new and DIFFERENT from the one in everyday life.

What is very important about travelling is a fact that before going anywhere we must plan everything carefully. Especially when we are going far away, abroad, for a long time or we are changing surrounding and climate totally.
First of all, every time we must remember about our documents and money. It is really necessary to have local or exchangeable currency. To enter some countries you need to have visa- so you have to organize everything before a trip.
Very important- vaccinations and medicines. There are a lot of tropical illnesses, you can be infected by insects, you have to protect yourself because a lot of them can lead to death.
It is very useful to know a bit about country you are going to. You can read some guidebooks to know about culture, local habits or just how to behave not to offend local people. You must choose proper season to go.
When you are going to have active trip, if you are doing something challenging (like climbing, diving etc.) you must think if you are physically prepared. If not, you have to practice and prepare yourself. You may need to buy necessary equipment and some clothes which will be needed.

  1. Hey, this is very interesting presentation ;). Since i was child I was traveling around the world. Of course I did it with my parents so it was holidays with a travel agency, but now very often I try to pick my friends and organize trips on my own. I think that trips give opportunity to explore new places, new people, their culture and I could say that it is a kind of test for myself in unusual situations. Unfortunately in this type on holiday is also downside - cost are much higher than if you are traveling by the travel agency where everything is prepaid and scheduled.

  2. Every year when temperature falls down to 10 degrees, I'm dreaming of living in a hot countries. Zanzibar will be okay, I think.

Kinga, I have completely different experiences about travelling. Every time I had organised trip on my own it was cheaper than package holiday. There are a few necessary things - one of them is a map. Without it, travelling for your own is difficult.

  10. I like the way you're talking about traveling. I hate typical quide style which is informing us only about most popular and most boring things. It's like: "Go there, see that, eat that (...) blablabla". We don't need 83659362984659 same quides, we need to be informed to discover our desires. We need to ask our self what do we want and when I am reading your text I'm asking myself: what's for me? And that's good.

Single-sex education

A little bit of history Single-sex education was traditional and dominating form of education till 19th century. Almost all schools and universities were single sex, which in almost all cases meant – men’s schools. This situation started to change because of two reasons: emancipation of women (fight for equality) and introduction of massive education. The first mixed-sex boarding school in UK was formed in 1818, it was Scottish Dollar Academy, and in 1878 the first university- University College London, allowed women  to enter on equal terms with men. What is interesting, the first Cambridge collage, which admit men and women was founded only on  1964. Pros and cons The topic of single-sex education is quite controversial. Like always there are pros and cons, some of them are quite irrational, other have a scientific background. The most popular arguments for single-sex education: 1. Boys and girls are learning in the different way, so they need different progr
THE MOST TRUSTED  PROFESSIONS Many people say that their job is important for our society, but is it a trustworthy profession? A market research institute asked people about trustworthy professions. Here you will find its results. The Top Five Most Trusted Professions 1. Firefighters A 2009 poll conducted by market research institute GfK found that firefighters ranked as the most trusted profession in Europe and the United States with 92 percent of respondents fining them trustworthy. Perhaps it’s all in the job description—being required to step into the face of danger every time you head out for an assignment is not just admirable, it’s downright heroic. 2. Teachers In the same GfK poll that lauded firefighters, teachers ranked second with 83 percent. It’s a good sign considering that the people responsible for crafting the minds of our children are deemed trustworthy. “I think every teacher recognizes that they are part of a trusted profession—that parents

Does money spoil people?

Does money spoil people? There is a saying that ‘money spoils people’, which means that people who become rich also start being rude and nasty. Is this true or not? I do not like categorize people, all stories are different. Probably everyone knows someone who is rich and nice person, and someone who is wealthy and horrible…What can determine behaviour of these people? copyright:http://theundercoverrecruiter.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/money.jpg 1 .     First of all how they got their money. Some people are rich because they won the lottery and some of them because they are genius who made a discovery of new, brilliant solution. There are also ones who are rich because they inherit all wealth from their ancestors… It is not a rule, but I think that people who work hard for everything what they have are more stable and realistic than ones, who don’t need to do anything because they got everything for free (without dedication or hard work). They won’t probably understand
