Hooligans

The fans in the stadiums have always been, are and will be. Faithful to their team. But recently more and more we hear about the destruction of stadiums and fights after games. Unfortunately, during these fights, people also die. This is a big problem in our country; the government is trying to eradicate it especially now before the European Championships, which Poland is hosting. But it is very hard to catch and punish all those who disrupt the course of the game or take part in the fighting after matches.

There has been even introduced the stadium ban.
For breaking the ban on stadium you are now threatened with a fine, restriction of liberty or imprisonment up to two years.

In England the problem with hooligans was solved more than 20 years ago. It was solved by Taylor who reformed the law in the stadiums. Stringent penalties for the slightest infractions, which were enforced quickly affected all of the indomitable. The beatings and the destruction of the stadiums at once meant you went to prison or you and got the absolute, lifetime ban on watching matches.

In 2005 there was even filmed a video of stadium hooligans "Hooligans".

The English fans fear that the Polish police can not cope with the hooligans when playing matches on the championship of Europe. Also worried about the state of our roads. For many of them still is a journey into the unknown, because nowhere is not yet any bells and plans for communication between the cities where matches will be played.
The article that I read that Russian fans are afraid to come to the Polish on championship.

As we can see the behavior of our fans may discourage some foreign supporters to come to matches to Polish.

  1. From my point of view, hooliganism is still a big problem in Europe and in Poland. It is one of many factors which can have an negative impact on Euro 2012. Personally, I think that our country should devote more attention into this problem. What is more, I would like to say that I completely defeat hooligans' behaviour.

  2. Hooliganism is one of the biggest problems of today's society. Increasingly, we hear about young people who unload their aggression on other times without any level. In fact, it is hard to tell about the main reasons for this behavior. According to me has a huge impact powszechnoścć movies and games on the content of a criminal. Young people are offered no other, healthier and safer forms to fill free time at the computer and television are the only form of relaxation and a source of transmitting the values of life.

  3. I think that police should be more strict with hooligans. Especially in stadiums, after the games. In our country it can be heard very often that fans after the game started to fight, trashed some places. It can be very dangerous for other people, normal viewers who just want to see the match. I think that it is very big problem in our country and something should be done with it. And to be honest, I'm not surprised that English people are afraid of coming here for Euro 2012... I will also be...

  4. Why in your presentation font changes color in the middle of a word from black to blue? ;P
About hooligans I can only say that I'm afraid of them. When I'm on the subway station and I see Legia's fans inside I wait for another subway, because I'm always frightened that they are hooligans and they will do something bad to me. I think that for as outrageous behavior as hooligan's on the stadions should be more rigorous penalties.

  5. Hooligans in Poland are a complete disaster. But the way that our country is dealing with them is a great catastrophe. Those people come to matches only to shout and destroy everything. And what? If they're caught they have to do some community service and they are banned from stadiums. In my opinion it's not enough. They should repay for everything they destroy from their own pocket and go to jaij for a loooong time.

  6. I agree with Kasia and Dagmaram- hoologanism is big problem to European society, mainly to Poland. Our government doesn't deal with the existing situation and on the contrary through ineffectual decisions this situation is becoming even more tight. It doesn't surprise me that another football fans affraid about Euro 2012 when even our politicians for aren't visualising it themselves. Well taken: ,,The fans in the stadiums have always been, are and will be" - but this problem won't solve oneself.

  7. Hooliganism isn't a problem only in Poland. I think that a big influence on the perception of this problem in Poland are the media. Unfortunately often fans identified with hooligans. Case of hooliganism in Poland has been publicized until after the match Legion Warsaw and Lech Posen. Then evidently this was the fault of the organizers. Bad preparation and unsecured stadium, too few police- we all know how it ended. Politics and journalists are only saying about this problem. I think it's time to act. Relevant legislation, securing stadiums, prepare police officers and healthy atmosphere is the key.

  8. My girlfriend works in one of top polish football clubs. She say that whole people come on match are cultural and newspapers and police manipulated public opinion in this case. I have other point of view, because many gangs started their exists from football fan groups.

  9. Well hooliganism is totally bad and i guess people they are totally stupid but very very energetic and frustrated. For them it's really they get manipulated by so many factors that they have no idea. What kind of terror they are spreading. Football is the ground where they can show all there hatredness towards other groups, people and so many things. The problem is for they are in large quantity and at one place and just 2-3 factors of frustrations and it's really difficult to stop it..

  10. I can say a lot about hooligans, because I grew up at the estate, where brawles and fightes were on a daily basis. It is also said a lot on TV that some hooligans were making stadium brawles and were arrested. It is not the positive sign for the community that those people have to fight to ward off the boring. But taking them to prison won't change anything.

  11. I agree with hooliganism is a big problem in Poland but not only, in every country is full of football hooligans. They pose a great danger in the stadiums. Often the children also attend matches and it's not good when they have to look at this behavior of “fans”. The Polish government should decent work on this issue, because every situation can be found out. Euro 2012 is a big challenge for us but also an opportunity, we must show that every fan can feel safe. Please remember that there are hooligans but true fans, too.

  12. In Poland we have a huge problem with hooligans. It isn't normal situation when hooligans are running on the streets after a match and they are doing unrest. I don't like very much soccer, maybe because I can't go to match like a normal fan. I hope that Championship of Europe in 2012 will change something in polish soccer. I hope...

  13. I have nothing to say about hooligans, but..
my boyfriend thinks that he is a hooligan, funny thing, because he was once on the football match, bought stuff connected with football team and he says he is a hooligan now:)
If all hooligans were like him I would not be affraid giong to the matches.

  14. I think that hooligans are a huge problem. Many times I wanted to go to to see the match, but I always give it up because of hooligans. I don't understand them and don't support their behavior. I think that they are dangerous not only for himself but also for others.

  15. Better law and respect that law by hooligans is the answer in my opinion. After PRL mainly society don't respect the law because that law was braking by politicians and was restricting society. For example paying taxes, speeding, cunning aren't on a law site. It is a effect of old order. I won't pay a tax and I won't be punishment. Hooligans are using that knowledge and they are braking the rules. Zero tolerance for aggression on a stadiums.

  16. I think to stop hooligans we need more severe penalties like credential high as salary or prison and banned for life to go to matches. I think it could solve the problem.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Hold on! Hoolingas topic is more hard than it look like. I hate people who connect hooligans with footbal fans. They look same, but they are doing so difference things. Example from Warsaw. Fans of Legia Warszawa helping veterans. I mean, making some shoping, cleaning, or just spending time with those old deserved people. Another action are christmas for orphanages. Fans making presents and bringing them for kids.
    Sounds nice?
Hooligans are everywhere, and they shouldn't be combined with footbal. This is so unfair.

    ReplyDelete
  18. I think that to eliminate the hooligans from stadiums need to take decisive action and not just talk about it. Police sould have a permitions for to use to more force. I don'y understand why hooligan can hit the policeman, and policeman can't do this. at ever stadium should be a monitoring and all taps from all match should be watching. When policeman who watch tape show holligan who destroy stadium, have to send a patrol to his house. It is not all my ideas for improvement of the situation, i think this ideas are the best

    ReplyDelete
  19. Once in my life I was at a football match and I'll never go again. The reason? Hooligans. They can do the best fun a hell, they hurt people, they make a huge fuss and mess. This is a problem, especially in large cities such as Warsaw and especially during big sports events. I think that in such places should be more police and the punishments for hooliganism should be aggravated.

Single-sex education

A little bit of history Single-sex education was traditional and dominating form of education till 19th century. Almost all schools and universities were single sex, which in almost all cases meant – men’s schools. This situation started to change because of two reasons: emancipation of women (fight for equality) and introduction of massive education. The first mixed-sex boarding school in UK was formed in 1818, it was Scottish Dollar Academy, and in 1878 the first university- University College London, allowed women  to enter on equal terms with men. What is interesting, the first Cambridge collage, which admit men and women was founded only on  1964. Pros and cons The topic of single-sex education is quite controversial. Like always there are pros and cons, some of them are quite irrational, other have a scientific background. The most popular arguments for single-sex education: 1. Boys and girls are learning in the different way, so they need different progr
THE MOST TRUSTED  PROFESSIONS Many people say that their job is important for our society, but is it a trustworthy profession? A market research institute asked people about trustworthy professions. Here you will find its results. The Top Five Most Trusted Professions 1. Firefighters A 2009 poll conducted by market research institute GfK found that firefighters ranked as the most trusted profession in Europe and the United States with 92 percent of respondents fining them trustworthy. Perhaps it’s all in the job description—being required to step into the face of danger every time you head out for an assignment is not just admirable, it’s downright heroic. 2. Teachers In the same GfK poll that lauded firefighters, teachers ranked second with 83 percent. It’s a good sign considering that the people responsible for crafting the minds of our children are deemed trustworthy. “I think every teacher recognizes that they are part of a trusted profession—that parents

Does money spoil people?

Does money spoil people? There is a saying that ‘money spoils people’, which means that people who become rich also start being rude and nasty. Is this true or not? I do not like categorize people, all stories are different. Probably everyone knows someone who is rich and nice person, and someone who is wealthy and horrible…What can determine behaviour of these people? copyright:http://theundercoverrecruiter.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/money.jpg 1 .     First of all how they got their money. Some people are rich because they won the lottery and some of them because they are genius who made a discovery of new, brilliant solution. There are also ones who are rich because they inherit all wealth from their ancestors… It is not a rule, but I think that people who work hard for everything what they have are more stable and realistic than ones, who don’t need to do anything because they got everything for free (without dedication or hard work). They won’t probably understand
