  1. I used to watch The Voice of Poland on Saturday evenings with my whole family. I think this talent-show is a great chance for singers to show up to a larger audience and start their own careers. When it comes to MasterChef, I prefer the "junior" version. It really impress me how kids can prepare such complicated and sophisticated meal.

  2. When I was younger, I used to watch Mam Talent and The Voice of Poland every week with all of my family members, so it was our way to spend quality time together. We would always pick our favorites and cheer them to the end. Im my opinion talent shows used to be a great way to show yourself to a greater audience and start your career a few years ago, but since the internet is an integral part of our lifes they became quite unnecessery. Nowadays I don't watch any of the newest programmes like that.

  3. I always watch these programs with my family and I love this moment when we all sit down on a couch with some snacks and watch talented people doing incredible things. Our favourite is The Voice of Poland, my mum loves this one in particular. I also really enjoy watching MasterChef, it amazes me how people can do such amazing dishes. We rarely watch Mam Talent.

  4. Nowadays I don’t watch program like this. However, a couple of years ago I used to watch a lot of them: Got Talent, The Voice of Poland, Your Face Sound Familiar, Master Chef and Master Chef Junior. Master Chef was my favorite program and I would watch it every week with my family. Although watching talent shows was a great idea for spending my free time and relax when I was younger, now I find them quite boring.

  5. Since talent shows has begun to be very popular on Polish TV, I have assorted sensations connected with them. Of course for many people it is chance to show off their skills and have possibility to be perceived by a person who will help to develop their career. On the other hand, I noticed many times favorisation of some participants based only on the fact, that the production realised, that the viewership is better with them. Sometimes I’m also shocked about the jury, who consist of people popular in media at the moment, not specialists in field at which the show focus on. I think that if TV stations would have considered some the holes in realisation of the talent shows, it could be really promising prospect for talented people to be appreciated equally to their skills and have a possibility to realise their plans connected with their talent.

  6. I used to love all types of talent shows when I was a kid, and I always looked forward to the day when I could watch the episode with my parents, spend time together, and comment on the jury's decisions. However, I believe that talent shows have gotten less engaging and exciting over time. I honestly don't remember the last time I saw a show like this. However,  I think they are a fantastic opportunity to promote yourself to a wider audience and, as a result, a chance to start a great career and achieve your goals and dreams.

  7. I like watching talent shows when I'm at home. For me, it's a fun way to spend time with my family watching The Voice of Poland or MasterChef. It's a great moment when everyone sits together in front of the TV and watches what other people can do. Particularly great are the comments about what is happening at the moment and whether someone praises the performer or rather does not like it. I really like it. When I am in Warsaw, I never watch talent shows alone.

  8. I do not watch talent shows. In my opinion this is waste of time, especially programs, which base on controversy or cheap entertainment. Next case is convention which is unadventurous, so boring and focused on low-sensation. Sometimes, when i arrived to family town, we were watching one of ten (1z10) and only this programme i have full respect. Rest of them is for me a hollow.

  9. To be honest, I have never watched such shows. It just doesn't interest me. On the one hand, watching such shows may seem interesting, but it seems to me that it is better to watch a series or read a book.

  10. I used to watch a lot of talent shows with my family when I was a kid. I found them really entertaining and hilarious. Now, we rarely watch any talent shows. The only one that we watch every year is The Voice of Poland, but to be honest, I don't enjoy it as much as I used to. If i had a choice to watch this show or TV series, I would definitely choose TV series.

  11. I dont watch talent shows. I dont find them entertaining or educational its jus tan contest of whos got a more dramatic back story to tell. And their talents singing most of a time its not a „talent” Everybody after some training can sing just in different tones. If thats a talent can i just walk around the stage because some people cant walk will i win than? And some people say that people like chopin were talented i dont think like like that he just go lucky in genetic lottery the only form of gambilng everybodey took part in. Also some people think this kind of show are wholesome in some way like, yes lest show poeple who have no luck in learning to sing good quickly that they will never archive fame and money because singing is more usefull to socjety that science. Who would save a famous singers after they overdose on drug as they ususally do( great examples for kids ) their famous singer wife or hausband? Maybe doctor who studied many years of his or her life. I think that a live performace of song about parting, drugs, sex and money will be immaculate help for them while their loved ones body stop to function. Ooh i forgot they cant perform without autotune

  12. To be honest I don't watch talent shows. I used to watch "You can dance" but is no longer broadcast. In my opinion, most of these programs focus on the corny history of the participants and not their talents. For example during the first audition to "You can dance" participants did not dance anything! There is only a interview about your live. So I think these programs do not show the people with the most talent and those who best fit the pattern set by the producers. So he does not derive joy from watching them, because he feels a certain falsity in them.

  13. I personally have never liked these types of programs. As a kid, I preferred to watch shows like "familiada" or "bankrupt" where there were explicit rules that were not dependent on the judges. As a curiosity, I will add that I myself was in the audience in a few talent shows.

  14. I think shows like this are a great opportunity for people to show their talents, which can then lead to big awards and popularity. Although I'm not particularly interested in such shows, I still know a show like America's Got Talent, some of the performances of which I sometimes see in recommendations on YouTube.

Single-sex education

A little bit of history Single-sex education was traditional and dominating form of education till 19th century. Almost all schools and universities were single sex, which in almost all cases meant – men’s schools. This situation started to change because of two reasons: emancipation of women (fight for equality) and introduction of massive education. The first mixed-sex boarding school in UK was formed in 1818, it was Scottish Dollar Academy, and in 1878 the first university- University College London, allowed women  to enter on equal terms with men. What is interesting, the first Cambridge collage, which admit men and women was founded only on  1964. Pros and cons The topic of single-sex education is quite controversial. Like always there are pros and cons, some of them are quite irrational, other have a scientific background. The most popular arguments for single-sex education: 1. Boys and girls are learning in the different way, so they need different progr
THE MOST TRUSTED  PROFESSIONS Many people say that their job is important for our society, but is it a trustworthy profession? A market research institute asked people about trustworthy professions. Here you will find its results. The Top Five Most Trusted Professions 1. Firefighters A 2009 poll conducted by market research institute GfK found that firefighters ranked as the most trusted profession in Europe and the United States with 92 percent of respondents fining them trustworthy. Perhaps it’s all in the job description—being required to step into the face of danger every time you head out for an assignment is not just admirable, it’s downright heroic. 2. Teachers In the same GfK poll that lauded firefighters, teachers ranked second with 83 percent. It’s a good sign considering that the people responsible for crafting the minds of our children are deemed trustworthy. “I think every teacher recognizes that they are part of a trusted profession—that parents

Does money spoil people?

Does money spoil people? There is a saying that ‘money spoils people’, which means that people who become rich also start being rude and nasty. Is this true or not? I do not like categorize people, all stories are different. Probably everyone knows someone who is rich and nice person, and someone who is wealthy and horrible…What can determine behaviour of these people? copyright:http://theundercoverrecruiter.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/money.jpg 1 .     First of all how they got their money. Some people are rich because they won the lottery and some of them because they are genius who made a discovery of new, brilliant solution. There are also ones who are rich because they inherit all wealth from their ancestors… It is not a rule, but I think that people who work hard for everything what they have are more stable and realistic than ones, who don’t need to do anything because they got everything for free (without dedication or hard work). They won’t probably understand
