How to save money?

Saving money is not that easy. Most of people have problem with that. We like going to restaurants and cafe or buying new clothes. More than we need. In Poland this is harder, because everything is expensive and our payments are not that big. But we can economize our expenses.
I have some advices for you, which can help.

1) Find something what you really want to buy or do and every time when you will want to buy something unnecessary – think about this purpose and it should help you to not spending money. Maybe print a picture of something you really want and hang it on the wall or fridge.

2) When you go shopping, make a shopping list - it will help you to buy only things, which you really need and nothing more. And don't go to the mall if you don't need anything, because some promotions can persuade you to unnecessary expense.

3) Cook in home. Eating in restaurants is very expensive, if you buy products at the grocery store or supermarket and prepare a meal yourself, you'll be surprised how much you saved. If you need a sandwich or something to eat in work or in school – make it in home and take it in lunchbox. And stop buying coffee in cafe, buy a mug and make your own coffee. After one month you will save a lot of money. More than you excepted.

4) I think a good idea is to start to use cash instead of credit cards. It's easier to control the cash, because you don't spend more than you actually have. And every 5zl (in one coin) you have, throw to the piggy bank! This is really good way to save money! You will not feel it and after a few months, you will have a lot of saving money. Then you can put money on deposit.

5) Keep receipts and record your expenses. Every week sum up your expenses - you will know how much you've spent on various types of expenses each week and it can help you identify "problem" areas and adjust your spending habits to fit your budget. This is time-consuming, but it will allow you to reduce expenses.

6) And look at the movie about saving money.

Some questions for you:
Do you agree with my ideas? Do you have your own way to save money - what is it? What can help you save money? What do ypu think about the movie?

  2. Nowadays, most of us yield to temptation and splash out on something expensive and unnecessary. Saving money is a challenge for most of people, especially for those, who suffer from compulsive shopping disorder. I'm convinced that making shopping list and preparing meals at home might be a marvelous way to save money and avoid having redundant expenditure. I prefer doing a price comparison to buy cheaper products. Saving money might be an interesting way to learn how to manage your money and say no to things you can't afford or don't need. I think that the movie is quite interesting, especially a tip that people should deter or delay some important buying decisions.

  3. Thank you for your presentation and the video - It makes me wonder about my finances :) I used to collect every 5 zl in piggy bank some time ago (maybe I will take it up again) Now I use shopping lists to avoid buying things which I don't need.

  4. I think taht ideas with making a shopping list and cooking at home are really great ones! I always make a shopping list-it helps me to focus in grocery store and buy only things that I really need. It might also be helpful to don't be hungry while doing shopping. When you are starving everything look delicious and you simply buy more things. I don't quite agree with using cash rather than credit card. My bank provides me nice account on their internet page where I can check all my expeditures and revenues, grouped into months. I think that it really helps me to control my budget.

  5. I think that in this days saving money is a real challenge. There are many ways to save, with those that you've described I use a shopping list, and I try to cook at home alone and not eat at roadside bars. I also have a savings account at a bank with a credit card, I can transfer even small amounts. The interest rate is low but there's always something.

  6. I totally agree with your suggestions. All of them are working for me. Also I would like to add that great way of saving money is choosing cheaper activities and entertainment. Firstly, I do sports at home or run outside instead of going to the gym. Secondly, I buy cheaper theater or movie tickets in the internet, there is a lot of coupons available. It really helps me when it is time to relax.

  7. In my opinion you have provided us wonderful tips which will help us with saving money. I have practiced a two of them for some time and I have to say that they really work! I am talking about making a shopping list before going to a supermarket. As Eliza said - it really helps to focus only on products which I need to buy and contributes to making the time which I spend in supermarket shorter :) The second thing is cooking at home. Even ordinary sandwich costs a lot of money on "the street". When I came to Warsaw I decided to prepare meals at home - I bought a few food containers and started to cook and take a ready meal to university or work. If someone wants to save some money - it is a wonderful opportunity to do it!

  9. I really like your ideas! The first one - I'm gonna try it. It will help me, to stay strong, when I will want to buy something unnecessary! The second one - shopping list is really great. And we shouldn't go to the market, when we are hungry. Last month I started cook in home and I really spend less money. My other way to save money is not coming to the shops centers. Because I always can find something cool to buy. The man from movie has right! If we want to buy a coffee in a caffe, do not do it! Take this 10 zloty and put for example to piggy bank. Do it everytime you will want to buy a coffee. You will see, how much you will save

  10. I like your ideas, they are really helpful and they don't require much effort. I use one of your methods as it works best for me. At the beggining of every month I check my budget, I do a shopping list and I leave a small reserve in case unforessen situations. Sometimes when I know that I need to buy something just for fun I leave my money at home I go on a window shopping.

  11. I agree that your ideas of saving money are alright, but in my opinion
it's bad idea to save money! Not only because of economic isues
(as spending money drives economy), but mainly because it's better to invest. The difference between rich and poor people is that rich one will invest money the day he gets the sallary, poor people will buy his needs and save rest money. The movie is ok, but it's not about becoming rich, just saving money.

    ReplyDelete
  12. I agree with the point 3. To my mind, preparing food at home is not only cheaper but also very often tastier (for example, a sandwich which you can buy at shops looks like made from plastic) and you can be sure about the quality of the ingredients.
According to the video I think that it is easier to say than to do :p but i agree with the fact that you have to invest your savings. Because with the inflation we have the value of money constantly goes down, and without investing the value of our saving also goes down.

    ReplyDelete
  13. i dont have any problem with controling my expenses, but I think your ideas might be good for people who have such an issue. I think you could expand the concept about making shop list and reffer it to planning any kind of expense.

  14. Your tips are very good for people who starting save money and in my opinion it is nice for teenagers or children (no injures ;) ). I think if you have job and some money you should invest it. Money have to work and grow :)

  15. Absolutely love the man that is Brian Tracy. It is my model to follow and mentor for many years. He taught me how to handle money and how to plan your future. Once I learned that the most important thing is put aside 10 percent of any amount of money earned. It does not matter whether you have $ 5 or 200, respectively. Always 10 percent. And this method works.

    ReplyDelete
  16. I agree with all of the presented ideas, especially the one about making food at home (mostly because it's really easy to do, and the effect is very visible in your wallet). I usually save by always trying to find new uses for old things and trying to save on small details. Things like reusing unfinished notebooks from high school, reselling my old schoolbooks, using the library for textbooks and such other small actions add up over time as well. Additionally, having a goal always helps motivate you to save. Forums or places like reddit's frugal subreddit often have loads of ideas on how to be wise with your spending as well.
I really enjoyed watching the video. Such a simple concept like putting away a bit of your income creating such fantastic results is surely something a lot of people can get behind and is very easy to apply in real life.

  17. Your presentation was amazing! Of course, I agree with you and your ways of saving money. It cannot be denied that making a shopping list can help us to find in the supermarket only this products which we noted. This kind of list could provide unnecessary purchase. Sometimes I have a problem with lack of time after classes, that’s why I eat in restaurants. The idea of preparing lunch at home is really good idea. These days we live in rush but we should find a few minutes to make something at home. It reduces expenditures. But not only. Thank to avoiding meals in fast food restaurants, you can improve your body and health. I’m used to collect receipts and I add up every expenses at the end of the month. It helps me to determine how much I spent on clothes, food and entertainment. My mother is for me an authority when it comes to saving. Every time I have problem with spending too much money, I ask her what I have to do. I try to save up for mainly clothes. Every month I transfer money on savings account. I worked out my objective and try my best to make my dreams come true. But not only. I want to prove myself that I can save money.

  18. I found your tips for saving money very helpful. Unfortunately the problem of spending too much money encounters me. I'd like to share with you some other ways of saving money but I'm not well-versed. In the future I'd like to invest money to make them grow":)

  19. I can't save any money because I'm addicted to board games... Everytime I see something I might like I'm buying it... and unfortunately they are not cheap. But that makes me happy so I think that's something ;)

    ReplyDelete
  20. I really like the idea of ‘paying yourself first’ presented in the movie. It is really important to save even small amounts of money regularly – if it is impossible to save 10% of income it is good to start with 1% but the most important thing is to start doing something with that. I also like the idea of prolonging buying decisions – I have never done that before and frankly saying I was rather the impulsive buying and I can clearly see now how much money can I save if I only start to be aware of all my consumer’s decisions.

    ReplyDelete
  21. I agree that it's better to cook at home rather than in restaurant. Not only it safes some coins but also it's a good method to become more responsible and matured. For some people cooking is not as easy as many could think. I always try spend money only for important things. To save some money I try to seperate some of them from my wallet and hide in pockets, boxes, etc. What a man said from movie makes sense.

    ReplyDelete
  22. These listed ideas surely might be useful. Yet, I prefer to work more instead. We are saving money in order to buy other things in future. I believe we can accomplish this targets just by working harder and more sufficiently. The advice I like the most is the one about making list before going shopping. I almost always buy things i don't need, so this "trick" may help me to save a lot of money. I think I will give it a try.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Thanks for the video and your presentation. It's really helpful. I love out from my parents about a month ago and I am still learning how to save money. It's not easy to save money when you're a twenty year old in a big city

    ReplyDelete
  24. Oh god, that's my problem! I hope that thanks to your advice I'll save my money.

    ReplyDelete
  25. I agree with your. This ideas are very easy and effective. The best idea for me is preparing food in house and take them to school or job. I do this and to my mind I save a lot of money because I don't eat in restaurants. I want to go abroad on holiday and it is my goal. This is my motivation so that I save money.

    ReplyDelete
  26. I agree with author... but I have got big problems with saving money! All the time when I try to do this and I think it is going in good way, I need to pay for my ZTM card or for my phone, or buy birthday gits etc. Now I know that it's so hard to save money if you are part-time employee...
In my opinion if you are starting your firts IMPORTANT job, it's also good time to startin investing in yourself and try to save.
Now I save my money by stop buying unnecessary things. ;)

    ReplyDelete
  27. I totally agree with those ideas, it’s important to do some savings, just in case. If I see something, and like it, and thinking about buying it, I do not do it immidiatelly. I wait a few days, do a research if I really need it. Sometimes I just forget about the stuff I left in the shop thanks to that. I believe it is better to go once for big shopping than to often go to the store. And what’s about a movie – it is good to have a habit to make savings of any incom.

    ReplyDelete
  28. I agree with your ideas. Unfortunately, I spend a lot of money on eating out and I know that preparing food at home would be cheaper. The other idea to save money can seem silly, but it works! I mean, if you go to the party, you should drink and eat before at home, because all these things are so expensive in the clubs.

    ReplyDelete
  29. I completely agree with your ideas. Great tips! Yes, I have my own way to save money. I try to saving money on my dream, so I put money into a special envelope and I know that I can't spend this money and I try stick the plan. One, big aim or dream can help save money. It's important to having a dream.
Doing a shopping lists doesn't work in my case, because I often forgot about something important. But of course I try buy only what I need.

    ReplyDelete
  30. I agree with most of your ideas. But I do shopping list rather to have everything what I need than to not have additional things.
I try to eat in restaurants not to often and look for some offers for students or lunch which are cheaper. I also have app to follow my expenses so I know what I’m spending money for.

    ReplyDelete
  31. I absolutely agree with all the ideas. I started to live on my own and be independent from my parents 3 years ago, so I had to start count and save my money. For example I can afford myself to rent some apartment, but while I am a student I decide to live in dormitory, saving money for trips. I always choose Biedronka to buy food and make shopping list. Also it's better to wait for sales in stores. Because you lose nothing: you will find something that you like cheaper or you won't buy anything and you will still have money in your pocket.

    ReplyDelete
  32. My way of saving money especially in grocery stores is to make a list. It not only allows me to buy only the things that I need, but also save time by doing shopping. Similarly with other purchases. When it comes to clothes, I usually watch them in online stores before shopping and then go to stationary stores.
As I mentioned, I also cook alone at home. From time to time I go somewhere to a restaurant with a boyfriend or friends.
However, when it comes to using cash instead of a credit card, I choose the latter method. Thanks to this, I can check my expenses in the application, which automatically compiles them.
But above all I recommend thinking about buying something. If we are sure that we need it and we are not able to buy it at a better price corresponding to its value then only decide to buy.

    ReplyDelete
  33. In my opinion making a shopping list is a really good idea - it prevents us from spending money on things which are for example on sale and which we don't need. We shouldn't also do shopping when we are hungry because it makes us spend more on snacks and other food.

Personally I use the 4th idea - I'm using cash instead of credit cards. It really helps me, when I see how much money I have in my purse. It allows me control my spendings.

My way to save money is selling things, which I don't need or use anymore - like clothes or books. There are lots of sites in the internet (vinted for example), where we can sell or exchange our clothes to people like us - who need money! We can sell our second-hand books and other things to antique shops and used book stores, which are willing to give a second life to these items.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Well, every tip is useful but to be honest, if someone likes spending money, will it be enough? I think it's all about our upbringing. I like buying unneccessary things like clothes that later I do not but if I know that I should leave some money for other times I do it. I think the best idea is to put a set amount of money monthly in the "piggy bank". You will be surprised how much money is there after some years. And sadly, it's true that eating out is expensive. On the ither hand, you can make delicious meals yourself. I have to try some of this tips.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Lately I have a big problem with saving money. Every time I am trying to save some money I am reminded I must buy some things. For example when I don’t need clothes it turns out that my face cream has run out so I need to buy new one. And I noticed also that more money I earn, more I expense. So I think I should start following these tips in articel. Before every shopping I will do list and I will try to minialise my needs. I also agree with point four. When I pay with credit card it doesn’t hurt as much as I pay with cash.

    ReplyDelete
  36. It’s so ridiculous! What a consumerism culture! I can’t ever realise how people could waste their money. Do you really don’t know what do you want? I read all of those points (including film)- they are ok, but just ok, because the main problem is character of people whose can’t save their money. Not a society, low prices and others – no excuces! Isn’t it enough to tell yourself „no”? Do you really want those „tips&tricks” to start saving? Nowadays, people are just weak and lazy, so be determined and strong. I’ve never had a problem with that, for me it’s oblivious that I just can buy everything – I even have some money from my vacation work! So the conclusion is one – be determined, then definitely you will save a lot of money, and make your dreams come true.

  37. I have always had a lot of problems with saving money. I wish I found this presentation a couple years ago. But now I’m trying to be consequent. I use some tips from the presentation. When I go shopping I make a list. I’m trying to leave my credit card at home to have a control in how much I spent. And I’m trying to cook at home. Of course there are some days when saving money is harder, and it’s not always going right, but I think I’m on a good way to save some money.

  38. I think that cooking in home and making a shopping list are a great idea for people who have problems with controlling their budget. I prefer pay in cash despite using credit cards because I have insight to my finance all the time. To save my money I sell my old clothes and stuff.

    ReplyDelete
  39. I'm using most of these ideas to save my money, because I'm collecting them for my trips at my summer break and it's working quite well! Also, my own idea to 'earning' and saving money, when I don't have time to work, is study very well. You ask me why? Because of tuitions that you can get from your university! Every month school gives me a certain amount of money and I'm immediately putting half of them on my saving account at bank, so I can't spend them. The rest of them I'm paying for my bills and things that I need beside food.

    ReplyDelete
  40. I always keep receipts and record my expenses in special file in Excel. It helps me control them. I think it's a great idea and I recommend to everyone. Unfortunately, people are often too lazy to do it. That's mistake! If you also want to download such a file, go to "Jak oszczedzac pieniadz" facebook account. You won'tregret!

  41. This is actually the subject that I'm dealing with every month since I moved out from my family home. Living on you own means spending money on your own and you definitely need to remember to not spend all of it before the end of the month. I definitely agree with ideas from the text. Most of them are the ways I use to solve my money spending problem. So I totally familiar with them. Though I guess keeping all the receipts is seems challenging to me. My own ways of savings money are: spending more time in family house and save some money every month. The first one seems weird but it's really a good thing to do if you're in the same situation. The best way to save money is paying attention to how much you spend for each thing (food, clothes ect.). I guess viedo showed in the text was very interesting but seemed really challenging to me. I always try to save some money, but I don't think that I would be able to do it in this way.

  42. Saving money for some people can be a very difficult task. Having the possibility to put aside some money is affortable yet hardly reachable for many people. There will always be somebody who earn money just to spend them living a moment without caring about the future or he care but his lack of self-discipline make him fail to succeed.

The video shows a good idea but doesn't take into consideration the poor ones who just cannot affort putting anything aside. For them it is essential to manage their financies reasonably and be cautious in deciding what they are spending money on.

In my opinion the best options are keeping receipts so as to gain control over our expenses and using cash instead of credit cards as in fact paying by credit card can give a false image of the amount of money we spend.

    ReplyDelete
  43. I'm probably the worst person to saving money. When I moved to Warsaw I often break all the rules. I never do the shoplist, I rarely cook at home, I usually use credit card and I almost never keep receipts. I spend a lot of money eating in restaurant so i think a good idea to save money is cooking at home. In my opinion people mainly spend money on thing they don't need, what's really ridicuolus, so the rule: ,,Buy what you need" it's the most important.

    ReplyDelete
  44. I think the presented ideas may be quite helpful to someone who has problem with saving money but I believe the most important is the motivation. If you have a very strong desire to buy something you will be able to discipline yourself and to spend money reasonably. You need to have a goal to save money. I think not only making a shopping list but planning meals for the whole week as well is good way of saving money.
‘Pay yourself first’ idea sounds very interesting. It is always good to have some savings and 10% of my incomes sounds quite reasonable amount of money to put on a special account. The percentage of course depends on the salary and whether or not the expenditures are shared with someone. I agree that the impulsive buying is usually the cause of some unnecessary expenses and feeling regret. On the other hand, saving money through the entire life to be rich when you retire, sounds irrationally to me. There is always possibility that your life will be finished before you retire and you will never have to chance to enjoy your savings. In my opinion you have to find “the golden mean” between spending and saving your money.

  45. I have problems with saving money. Now, I started saving by taking part from my paycheck and putting it in my other bank account. This way I saved a lot of money. I also started to make food at home instead of eating out - I even make coffee at home and take it with me. These are the most helpful advise for me and I will use some of them for sure. What is more, I find it helpful to will be to have a goal that I wish to achieve and save money to buy it - which is one of your advice. I think the movie point out good tips and maybe in the future, I will use them.

  46. I agree with points 1,2 and 3 . I think that shopping list is very helpful , but i don't agree with point 4. I always use credit card because i can check in my bank application how much i shell out and for what

  47. Saving money isn't easy, I'm sure. But I think that most people don't wonder about their spending. When they have money, they buying everything they need and don't thinking about next week. When it starts financial problems, they start wondering what they can do to spare some money.
I think that the best way to start save money is doing a shopping list and cooking at home, not out. Then we have a bigger stranglehold on our wallet.

  49. If you are studying, saving money isn't an option. It's everything about survival. But generally - that's true. We should do it and your tips might help. So summarizing it all, we have to be a aware consuments that count their costs and possibly if we think about how much we spend, we can decide to cut costs at some areas and spend less.

  50. First and foremost, saving money requires a specific mindset. You need to be aware of your expenses and be able to make correct decisions on what to buy. Tips such as those above can help battle you incorrect urges but as long as you do not have an instinctive understanding of which purchases aid you and which are unnecessary... well, you'll struggle anyways. So in other words: try to actually think about your actions and don't rely on magical tips to save you from yourself

  51. The article is about different methods of saving money. The author describes the ideas of saving money in the everyday life. To my mind, the ideas described in the text are rather effective and allow to save money on usual things for the big dream in the future.
The methods of saving money are very important nowadays. But usually a person cannot save much money if he has not got a goal for the saving. The motivation for saving money can be a dream that a person wants to fulfill in the future. It can be a big house or apartment, a luxury car or private plane, an expensive smartphone or a powerful computer etc.
I have been thinking about the idea of saving money during the last year. Saving money for me is a good way to train will power, to motivate myself stronger etc. I try to follow the methods of saving money. Usually I use the methods described in the Internet. By the way, a great part of them are described in this article. I prefer to make a list of products before going to the supermarket and I try to follow it. It is also a good method of saving money for me to eat some food before going to the shop. It helps me to buy only necessary products.
The movie in the article describes the way of becoming a self-made millionaire before the retiring. An author motivate the viewers on saving money and to putting it in a bank on saving account. It is a great advice that really works. In order to achieve the goal described I the movie, a person should of course have a strong will power. I can say that the author of the movie knows what he is speaking about and maybe he tried on himself the method described by him in the movie.

  52. For me advices in the article are good - for me main idea is: remember about saving (making list, goal etc). In the film there was many similar advices. For me intresting was: don't buy one cafe per day - if you buy. It is 5 dollars per day only for not buying something. For me noting every expense could be helpful. The 'list' shows how much one spend and what expense one can cut.

  53. Saving money is not easy indeed. Some people find it pointless but I am reasonable with money. I believe that I should not spend everything on treats. It is the reason why this blog is valuable for me. It is full of usable information. I agree with advice which were presented and I practise some of them. There is no doubt that reliable method is putting aside money on particular or dreamy thing. It motivate us to raise money. As for shopping list I practise it for some time and I totally agree that it prevent me from buying useless thing. It is also true that due to using credit cards we do not control our expenses. The idea of preparing food at home is also fine but I individually have not always enough time to do the shopping and afterward cook something and of course clean the kitchen.

  54. I think that this article present some useful tips for saving money. Most of them are very simple, but it should be effective. For me saving money isn’t problem usually, I just think if I need this things. But there are some expends, which we can’t avoid.

  55. There are some useful tips, but I have my own way for saving money. I have several envelopes with names on them (such as "food","cloth","savings" itd.). It helps me to divide my budget into several parts and with help of this system I always have some money for impulsive purchases and so on.

  56. Simple, yet somewhat useful tips...if you have the willpower necessary to carry them out, which again, shouldn't be much. I'd love to be able to save money efficiently, but at the same time I never feel a desire to "buy myself something nice"..."Treat yourself" however is a very dangerous phrase for me. I just love good food way too much, especially if it is something new I haven't tried yet.

  57. I agree with the ideas presented, especially with the idea of cooking at home (as it is really economical). But not only due to the refusal of food in fast-food restaurants, you can improve your body and health. I used to collect receipts and summarize all expenses at the end of the month. It helps me determine how much I spent on clothes, food and entertainment.
I liked the video. Such a simple concept, like putting off a small amount of your income, creating such fantastic results, is undoubtedly something that many people can leave behind, and it is very easy to use in real life.

  58. Personally, I do not agree with the idea of not paying by credit cards because I better control my money over the Internet or on my phone application. A good idea seems to be collectiog weekly receipts but still exists a problem of fading. In my opinion does not exist any good advice how to save our money. Everybody should make changes in own brain and control it consciously. I know, it may be difficult but I believe it works.

  59. I don’t have any problems with saving money. Sometimes I am rather stingy, especially when I need money to buy something special. In my opinion the most interesting idea is collecting each 5 zł (in one coin) and putting it in piggy bank. It doesn't seems to be a lot of money but we are not aware how many coins we have in our wallets during the year. When I worked in a shop I met an elderly woman who told me that she saves money like this and that it really works. This nice lady through the year saved enough money to go to the Baltic Sea for a month! Unbelievable, huh? After that I heard about few people who do the same thing but this one was the most motivating one. I have never tried it, but I think that one day I will.

  61. I agree with statements presented above and I use these rules in my life. What can I add? For example when I want to buy clothes or cosmetics I often look for these products on the Internet becasue there are always some sales and discounts in online shops. I also like to compare prices. It takes a little bit more time but saves money. Second thing I do is reasonable thinking about shopping. If I have something on my list that is not so necessary I just wait for Christmas.
Having client cards in shops is also helpful. It allows us to use discounts, get points and that change it to some products.

  62. Most people have a problem with saving money. We like buying new things or spending money in a restaurant with our friends. In my opinion, making a shopping list and cooking at home are great ideas. It really can help you save a lot of money.

  63. The ideas given are as relevant as possible, she applies them herself. I have one way, I have a moneybox in which I throw coins once in a while, when I want to buy something I use this moneybox.

  64. I totally agree with your concepts and I use many of them. Especially a good idea is not to eat that often out and use cash instead of a credit card. A credit card is just a plastic thing and that's the reason why we usually don't associate it with spending money, we forget how much we've already spent, so that's how it goes. Actually I've never thought about hanging a picture of a thing that I crave for on the fridge. Sounds anyway funny to me but it may work as well. In the video we are shown points of saving money and how it works, of course it's the truth but it's hard to put it into practise. We always spend as much as we earn and it's all about the era of consumerizm - there's always something we don't own and might buy.

  66. I disagree with this video. In my opinion the average employee can’t be a millionaire only from savings. When we get an average salary, we can put a little on our savings account but it doesn;t mean that we will be a millionaire. We shouldn’t spend money in lavish and extravagant ways but I think that small pleasures are nice and necessary for our wellbeing. It’s nice to drink a good coffee during a hard day or go to a restaurant with friends after a long week. Saving money is not easy. I agree with the idea of going shopping with a shopping list. I try to stick to this proposition. Also, I don’t recommend going shopping when we are hungry.

  67. Fortunately, I don't have any problems with saving money. I'm never tempted to buy anything. I buy only what is necessary. The only thing I'm spending more money on than I should be is electricity. I sometimes leave the computer or the light on and go do something else. I try to change it, but it doesn't always work out

  68. I find your ideas pretty useful. I've personally had application to record my expenses. What's interesting, I've had special list for tracking my faulty expenses, fines and simply bad ideas. I've find out that regularly, once a month, I've had something to fill in there. I reckon this research is worthy of conducting even if you don't have problems with saving money.

Single-sex education

A little bit of history Single-sex education was traditional and dominating form of education till 19th century. Almost all schools and universities were single sex, which in almost all cases meant – men’s schools. This situation started to change because of two reasons: emancipation of women (fight for equality) and introduction of massive education. The first mixed-sex boarding school in UK was formed in 1818, it was Scottish Dollar Academy, and in 1878 the first university- University College London, allowed women  to enter on equal terms with men. What is interesting, the first Cambridge collage, which admit men and women was founded only on  1964. Pros and cons The topic of single-sex education is quite controversial. Like always there are pros and cons, some of them are quite irrational, other have a scientific background. The most popular arguments for single-sex education: 1. Boys and girls are learning in the different way, so they need different progr
THE MOST TRUSTED  PROFESSIONS Many people say that their job is important for our society, but is it a trustworthy profession? A market research institute asked people about trustworthy professions. Here you will find its results. The Top Five Most Trusted Professions 1. Firefighters A 2009 poll conducted by market research institute GfK found that firefighters ranked as the most trusted profession in Europe and the United States with 92 percent of respondents fining them trustworthy. Perhaps it’s all in the job description—being required to step into the face of danger every time you head out for an assignment is not just admirable, it’s downright heroic. 2. Teachers In the same GfK poll that lauded firefighters, teachers ranked second with 83 percent. It’s a good sign considering that the people responsible for crafting the minds of our children are deemed trustworthy. “I think every teacher recognizes that they are part of a trusted profession—that parents

Does money spoil people?

Does money spoil people? There is a saying that ‘money spoils people’, which means that people who become rich also start being rude and nasty. Is this true or not? I do not like categorize people, all stories are different. Probably everyone knows someone who is rich and nice person, and someone who is wealthy and horrible…What can determine behaviour of these people? copyright:http://theundercoverrecruiter.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/money.jpg 1 .     First of all how they got their money. Some people are rich because they won the lottery and some of them because they are genius who made a discovery of new, brilliant solution. There are also ones who are rich because they inherit all wealth from their ancestors… It is not a rule, but I think that people who work hard for everything what they have are more stable and realistic than ones, who don’t need to do anything because they got everything for free (without dedication or hard work). They won’t probably understand
