  1. I always wanted to try go on camel! It must be very interesting experience! Gondola is also a really nice and special mean of transport! It must be amazing, like in old movie or old book, when you're sitting with your partner in gondola and some man rowing and singing. And you looking on this special buildings.

  2. Very good presentation :) I really liked the photos. I've never seen these types of transport for myself but of course I've seen some on tv or internet. It would be funny to see a camel walking across the streets of Warsaw. I would really like to try Gondola someday, I think it's very romantic and the views are surely amazing.

  3. Thank you Katarzyna :)
By myself I've seen gondola in Veniceand Habal-Habal on the street but not in Philippine - in Lebanon. It was unforgettable event to see more then two people on the motorcycle. In my opinion, these means of transport are really worth seeing. It can be amazing experience to see it and try them.

  4. I would also like to try Gondola in Venice. :) It must be so romantic! But I think each one of these means of transport is very interesting and travelling by them could be an unforgettable experience.

  5. In my opinion gondola is the most amazing kind of transport. I agree with Laura that it must be so romantic! However apparently in Venice there are very foully in summer. I also want to go on a camel or an elephant but here is the same problem because it stink too. :) Beside this I think that this is a little scary go on a big elephant.

  6. I've never seen these types of transport for myself but I've seen some on TV.The most incredible mean of transport for me is Habal Habal. I’ ve found more informations about this kind of transport – it’s really unbelievable. . I would like to try Habal Habal with my friends someday. And here is my favourite picture : http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-4RlR0hxXZLg/T-w_uCBLMtI/AAAAAAAAGcg/_J3KiFn4quE/s1600/Skylab.jpg

  7. As well as Asia, I've never seen this kind of transport on the street. My biggest dream is to travel to South America, because there is a specific culture. I've always wanted to see how people travel there. The most incredible means of transport for me is Totora boat in Peru, because they have a long history, unique shape, for example, the head of the dragon, and for ages are hand-made from a special type of cane.

  8. I had a possibility to see a camel when I was in Egypt during my last holiday but I didn't decide to ride. I must agree with Ewa - Totora boat looks amazing! I hope one day I will have a chance to visit Peru and see Titicaca and Totora boat. All this means od trnasport look incredible but I think Habal Habal could be really dangerous.

  9. I saw only two of them (but unfortunately I didn't have opportunity to try it): rickshaw and camel. I would like to try almost everything you have mention in this presentation, especially one of the symbol of Venice in Italy - Gondola :)

  10. I dream about it, to try all of this means of transport, especially animals like camel, elephant and donkey. I think that except this animals lots of people never try horse riding. It's too incredible. I agree with Magdalena that the most extreme among this means of transport is motorcycle Habal-Habal, because there is too much people in one place and they don't have seat belts or other protection.

    1. This presentation is great! I agree with you Edyta. That would be an amazing adventure to ride on an elephant or a camel. In Poland we have a traditional type for example vehicles In Poland we have a traditional type vehicles for example: trains, cars and airplanes. From the presentation, we learn that people use many different transports to travel more routes. I hope that in the future Edyta your dreams related to ride of this means of transport and remember I will go with you! :)

  11. Every position from the list sounds interesting in it's own way. Animals are the big part of it, and it's a funny thought to share that in those low-developed countries it's a still primary mean of transport. In Poland we were using mainly horses, but since elephants are more common in India, they're using what they have. Quite amazing, though very simple. Some of these, like a gondola or a rikshaw, are also very well known even in Europe, mainly because of a mass culture, or a cinematography!

  12. It's a really good presentation. Still nothing beats the camel. I really want to try ride one. You can say it's one of the things I plan to try in my life. In person I only saw camel and gondola (not in Venice, but it doesn't matter) And I'm pretty sure the last one is photoshopped (I hope so).

  13. I think that nowadays, when technology lets us to invent many different means of transport, animals, especially wild, should NOT be used by human, they are free creatures and they should live in their own environment. There was a very loud scandal with dying horses pulling carriages with tourists up on the mountain, it is cruelty no matter if it is horse, camel or donkey.
Many people are in love with gondolas in Venice, this kind of transport is very romantic, but the city isn't... It smells very bad because of water surrounding every building.

    ReplyDelete
  14. I've only seen these transport ways on movies and pictures. It's a fascinating that there are many ways to travel, which not everyone knows. From these pictures I would like to try rickshaw (Japan).
In Poland the other specific vehicle would be a cab, but it's unfortunately expensive.

    ReplyDelete
  15. In my family town rickshaws are very popular. They don't look like these in Japan, obviously. There is a bike in the front or back (different types of vehicle), and a very similar sitting box (like in the picture). I saw a donkey too, but nobody was driving him. :) In terms of incredible vehicles, I saw my friends from a village get a half of a car - it was a trabant - I think... They turn it on, and drove it around... It was an amazing view; a half of a car with only two wheels on a country ride. I used to laugh a lot of back then...

  16. When it comes to my dispense with sophisticated means of transport, I tried riding a camel. Camels are lazy but resistant animals living in difficult conditions. During a safari tour in Egypt some experiences were gained by me. That was entertaining but a little bit risky because of my fear of these desert animals. Nevertheless, I haven’t forgotten my enjoyable and pleasant riding. Venice was also visited by me and my friend. I have been riding by gondolas all day through the Venice’s canals. Personally, maybe it was a new experience because I haven’t known another place where tourists can see breathtaking views from gondola. But... ‘admiring’ water contamination, lots of pollution, litter and feeling such a horrible smell of dirty water was an unpleasant, moreover disgusting and revolting thing. Romantic and extraordinary place? No way! Maybe, if it wasn’t for this means of transport, less people may visit gorgeous and historical Venice. When it comes to rickshaws I had also an opportunity to sightsee a part of Antalya with my family last year. The first feeling and meaning joined with this means of transport is: unstable. All the time I had a horrible premonition of disaster. A man got lost the strength after an hour and this situation was caused by obsessive heat. I rather depend on myself or traditional transport. A means of transport in Poland diversified but there is no doubt people can try to ride sophisticated and controversial vehicles. Undergrounds, buses, trams, rapid trains and mainly cars are popularised these days. One of the weirdest situation I have ever has was a trial to make me go by carriage to ‘Morskie Oko’ in Tatra Mountain. Instead of wandering and communion close the nature I was forced to sit politely on a kind of cart and watching how horses make a huge effort during my rest. The idea of creating and placing this kind of means of transport in mountains might be a good solution for old people who aren’t as resilient as the youth.

  17. I am used to public transport. So these types of transports are very specific and surprising for me. Of course, some I saw on photos for example gondola. Some I saw on live for example elephant or camel. But most of them are very funny for me. I never heard about Totora Boat. It looks like monster but not boat. I want to see Rickshaw because it looks like crazy. Probably it is a good fun for tourist. But I don't want to try Habal-Habal. For me this is dangerous. Thanks to this presentation I learned many interesting facts. Thanks for author.

  18. The only way of transport mentioned in the article i have ever seen is donkey in Greece. However I'm not a big fan of animal abuse. That's why even if i had a chance i would ride neither on elephant, donkey nor camel.
I know it may not be extraordinary but with a big plesure i would try gondola. I love everything what is connected with Italy.

  19. Once I traveled by Gondola in Venice in Italy. I haven't even seen the other means of transport mentioned in article. I spent the whole my life in cities, so for me personally an unusual mean of transport is simple horse - drawn carriage. I like very much to ride on it. But I really want to try to ride on some big annimal like elephant or camel in the future. I feel that it could be fascinating.

  21. I have to say it was very interesting presentation! However, I have never used any of the presented means of transport. Admittedly, I did see lots of donkeys when I was in Greece a few years ago, but I have never ride one. Anyway, I hope I will return there one day and try to take a ride. Speaking of unconventional means of transport I have to admit one of my biggest dreams is to ride a double-decker bus! I have always been interested in Great Britain - its history, culture and tradition, thus I would be very excited if I will finally get on this bus.

  22. Unfortunately I have never seen any of this means of transport. But I always dreamed to try go on elephant because I love this animal. Despite its size it seems to emanate love. I think that could be an interesting experience. I hope that one day this dream will be come true. But I still have some time before I'll go to Thailand.

  23. Amazing presentation!
I wasn't able to try most of this means of transport, but long time ago I could drive on donkey and, what really surprised me, it's even more enjoyable than riding on a horseback. Donkeys are really calm and comfortable. It was a real pleasure for me to try this mean of transport.

  24. I never heard about many of these means of transport. Mostly " bomboo train" seems to be very interesing. We al know that people from Cambodia are very creative and they can replace lack of money by invention. In Poland we're also doing it great. One of my drems is the trip to Thailand so I hope one day I'll take a ride on the elephant. I also heard that on the streets of cities they're painting the pictures!

    ReplyDelete
  25. I only saw Rikshaw but i can't recall when or where it was. I also quite a lot saw droshky in few bigger cities in Poland. I would like to take a ride on an elephant someday too.

  26. It is very interesting presentation for me ;) I didn't know about majority of them but thanks to you I heard about it. I had chance to traveled by Gondola when I was in Venice. It was amazing experience. Unfortunately I was there with my familly but I think that do it with boyfriend will be romantic idea. Camel and elephant are atractive for me too. I didn't traveled by this kind of transport but I want to try.Who know? Maybe one day I will. In my daily life I mainly use a public transpot like bus, train or metro but my favourite is car.

    ReplyDelete
  27. I've seen a couple of these while on trips to foreign countries, and I'm always amazed at how they combine practicality with an exotic flair.
Some of them are used just for the romantic aspect, or for entertainment, and thats also amazing. Especially when they are sometimes so deeply connected with the traditions or the culture of the local people.
As for any more types of strange transport, I always thought dog-sleds to look fun. Obviously, they probably aren't used nowadays for practical reasons, but I still would like to try one out someday.

  28. Article applies to vehicles, but not such as bicycle, car or bus, but extraordinary and unusual. These are different means of transport, but to me the most interesting is Habala-Habala. It must look Kinda weird. Post I find very interesting and so I met other means of transport.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Habal-habal looks really great. I found many photos in Internet. It is a kind of motorbike with platform around. It is a really cheap solution for public transport. The motorbike is very small and uses a little fuel. The platform is large. You can ride with a number of people to almost every place!

  30. I have seen most of this means of transport, and even used some of them - Gondola in Venice, Camel in Egypt, Donkey in Croatia and the Rickshaw but not in the Japan, but in European cities such as Amsterdam, Rome and Prague :)
What comes to my mind while reading this article was another unusual mean of transport - Reindeers. We all know them from the Christmas story, pulled to the sleigh of Santa Claus to help him deliver Christmas gifts. In a reality they are used as a transoport escpecially in Siberia, Russia, Norway and North America.

  31. I have seen only a camel, but in Turkey. These means of transport are really intresting, especcially Bamboo train and Chickenbus as for me. By using Bamboo train you can be really close to the nature and it's easy to use it. And chickenbuses just look interesting and attractive, I think, it makes routinedays more colourful. There are really a lot of other unusual means of transport. For example: metrotram in Russia, what can go under the ground and outside too; swimming bus Hippo in Canada; luxurious bus Wubbo Superbus in United Arab Emirates; pub on wheels in Germany and many others.

  32. I have seen some of these kind of transport but used only three - gondola in Venice, rickshaw in Prague and donkey in Greece. I think it's fantastic that lots of countries have got their own transport. It's something different and make ability for use to meet with other culture and other view of the world. Now i know, i want to try more of them like elephant or bamboo train - it must be fantastic to seat on so big animal or to be so close to nature. For them it's normal and possible not to see bus or metro, but for use it's daily. I love to meet with other cultures!
I also want to try dog sledding, it's popular in Alaska.

  33. Sincerely? I've never seen these means of transport. I've only seen these transport ways in films. But each of these methods of travel sounds great!

I use public transport every day so I'd really like to try riding an elephant. Egypt would be a great place to do it. I think it would be an unforgettable experience. I never heard about Totora Boat but I think this is also awesome mean of transport. I think I would spend a really great time with my girlfriend in this type of boat, on the lake Titicaca. We could feel like in one of the movies.

    ReplyDelete
  34. In Poland no, but abroad I do few. For example gondolas in Venice. If I had more time there I would love to tavel by this one. I don't know now if I know any other. But I think that differences between means of transport shows people's creativity. I mean that it's great creating new vehicles when not having money or any stuff to create similars. And it characterizes cultures in countries as well.

  35. When we hear about transport, we always imagine our traditional means like cars or trains. To be honest, I have never been thinking about other means of transport, that's why this presentation is very interesting for me. I didn't know that there are so many incredible inventions and ways of transport in the world. Only when I was about 6, I was with my parents in Turkey and I had a chance to sit on the camel. But unfortunately I don't remember a lot from this event :(

I would like to try the bamboo train in Cambodia. I wonder if we can find any incredible mean of transport in Poland. It would be nice if our country appeared on such a list.

    2. I also support your opinions. For me it's a very fascinating means of transport, I would like to try all of them by myself. Unfortunately, until now I had the chance to experience only one of them, it was a gondola in Venice and it was an amazing experience so I came back a few times there. In those places where I have been so far, there was not any special means of transportation , so this article was interesting to me.Maybe only when I was in the Netherlands, I was amazed by the accumulation of bikes, because almost everyone has it there but the bikes can be admired for sure in every town so it's nothing special.

    4. I also find means of transport mentioned in the post very unusual and unique in some way and I’d like to see them on my own eyes one day. For me the environmental aspects and technological developement are the factors that cause the reason why this means of transport are present in that specific areas of the world. Many of them were bulid in favour of culture of the countries so it can be also connected with tradition of the area they come from. When it comes to extraordinary means of transport I can recall Viking ships used by the Nordic people in the past. Vikings brought unique design of patterns and animals to their boats and here is the example on how the cultural aspects can have an influence on means of transport. One of the Vikings tradition was to bury dead chieftains in their ships. This is incredible that the Vikings built their boats using simple tools and as it has been once said that Viking can make a boat with nothing but an axe-but he used it in sofisticated way.

I’ve always wanted to ride on a camel or elephant. Now I know where to go to do this. I hope I could go through this one day. Also a gondola trip sounds great for me! It is a very romantic idea of spending time.

  36. Totora boat, camel, bamboo train and habal-habal are really interesting types of transport. There are incredible - I agree with author of this text. I saw rickshaw in Poland. It's only one from nine types of transport, which I had already seen in town (of course, I also saw donkeys, but not donkey-transport). I know one more incredible type of transport. These are hucul horses which help people with transport in high mountains.

I've heard about gondolas, rickshaws but i have to agree with you that totora boats, bamboo trains are really interesting types of transport. But for me, the most fascinating type of transport is chickenbus. It looks like a normal bus but it's painted by owners. It sounds interesting especially that it was painted with pleasure. What is more important than doing what you really like? nothing. I'd like to try it as totora boat because it's not a popular thing.

  38. I find this article really interesting. It pointed couple of means of transports I've never heard about - like habal-habal and bamboo train. I guess that most of these vehicles, which are extraordinary for us, were made to help people adapt to unfavourable weather, landform and other conditions. Cars and bikes can't be use in every country, so people had to invent some other ways of transport. I would like to try traveling by bamboo train, because it has to be great to admire landscapes without pane (you can experience smell and sound, not only view). Travelling in gondola is also on my bucket list - cause it has to be so romantic!

Unfortunately I don't know any incredible ways of transport. When I'm abroad, there are typical buses, taxi etc. Although maybe for us it's typical, but maybe there is a place where they don't use it. So maybe I know some incredible ways of transport, but not for me. :)

  41. I agree with the author of this text, who wrote, that this means of transport are really incredible. Yes - there are! But I hate using animals for transportation eg. horses in Zakopane or camels and elephants what was written above. I think it's terrible, so I've never tried it.

In this text not only animals are described, but also other strange means of transport. I'm really surprised that there is such a thing as a bamboo train. It must be funny when the train with less load (in case meeting) need to get off the track. I hope I'll use that one someday.

But I'd like the most travel by a gondola. I've seen it in romantic comedies a lot of times. I'm sure that it must be an unforgettable experience, especially when you do it with your partner.

Unfortunately, Anna Smolińska is right - we can just see this means of transport on the pictures for now. :(

I think I don’t know more crazy and exotic way of transport than those presented.

  45. First thing that comes to my mind when I think about chicken bus is "The Mystery Machine" from "Scooby-Doo", though I doesn't look exactly the same it is preserved in a similar style and I hope I will try this one day. I worship journeys and I think that travelling is the best way to get to know the world, but I have to agree with Martyna. Using animals to travel is awful. I just can't understand horse riding lovers, who claim to adore horses, but on the other hand exploit them. I must admit, that I rode a camel once, but it is very inconvenient, probably because landed for camels is made of rough material.
Also a lot of you wanted to try out a gondola, but I'm afraid that I have to disappoint you. Venice has a problem with sewerage and unluckily traveling by gondola may not always be as enjoyable or lovely or romantic as we suppose. Hope I haven't spoilt any holiday plans.

  46. We know a lot of ways to travel. In cities cars, bicycles and buses are the most popular. But this is so common, we haven’t got any adventures during going somewhere by bus. I am really fascinated how creative people live in countries like Peru or Kenya. Who doesn’t want to go to work by donkey? This must be so great! Gondolas from Venice are quite popular, but have you ever think about using gondola everyday? In Venice there are more canals than streets! And finally – elephants. Travelling through jungle, sitting on elephant, can you imagine something cooler? I am really impresed and I hope that one day I would try travelling by donkey.

  47. It is my dream to sail by gondola in Venice. I think that it is truly romantic when at night you sit and listen sounds of silent and shy city. It must be incredible! I'm sure that a lot of men were poped the question in Venice. Their bride-to-be was really affected!

On the other side I think that it isn't good idea to abuse animals to moving people. They are tired when they must carry travellers.

    ReplyDelete
  48. After reading presentation, i really want to travel by bamboo train. I have never heard about it. Train is my favourite long-distance transport, because we can walk in travel and i really hate sit in one place by hours.

  52. I’ve never use means of transport which were presented at blog. What is more, I don’t fancy use some of them such a camel, donkey or elephant. Nowadays, people have a number of other means of transport and I find it unnecessary to abuse animals. It could be required when people haven’t such a facilities as a cars, trams or plants. Nevertheless, I understand that in some countries it’s still indispensable. I believe that transport shouldn’t be used as a entertainment. On the other hand, Gondola seems to be tremendously noteworthy. It’s believed to be romantic. Venise is located on a plenty of island so there’re canals. Personally, I believe that gondola would come up to my expectations also in everyday usage. To sum up, how many cultures and requirements as much different means of transport.

They are all amazing but I think I would like to try the most ride an elephant and travel by gondola , The first one is really exotic and it would be definitely unforgettable. The second one is more classic, but really romantic and I would love to have a travel around the Venice by gondola.

  55. Moving around by motorcycle called habal habal or Totora Boat sound quite challenging for me. But it could be interesting to crossing the dessert on camel and of course cruising on condole in Venice with the love of your life. Anyway, means of transport presented here can be great attractions for tourist for example, but the world should search and develop modern means of public transport to be safer, more effective and better even than private transport.

  56. This presentation is very interesting for me. I have never seen Totora Boat for example. It is beautiful that there are some places, where mean of transport can determine them. It is a symbol of this place. Like it is in Venice - first thing when we think about it is gondola. Nevertheless, there are places where animals are using as mean of transport. In my opinion it is evil. I know that it makes life easier there and that there is an old tradition. However, these days we should find an alternative mean of transport there and makes animals happier. :)

  58. Wow,I've never seen most of them. Gondola or animals are rather famous and everyone know about possibilty to use it as a mean od transport, but Totora boat or Rickshaw are means, that I really want to see in the future. It's very incredible, that means of transport are so different around the world. I hope, I will travel and discover they personally, not only on the Internet.

  59. Most of these means of transport are known and I even saw ricksaw in Warsaw what is quite unique. This isn't common mean of transport so maybe that's why I've never seen anyone using it. Habal-Habal and bamboo train surprised me- they just sound great. It must be so exciting to travel this way and I think I would try it if I had a chance. All this types of transport are unique and can be tourist attractions but I think that it's not comfortable for local people who have to commute like that every day.

    1. This presentation shows how many different and unique cultures are in the world. We are very diverse even in the choice of means of transport. I have never seen most of them, like totora boat which is so impressive, I hope that someday I will ride with my friends by habal habal, it must be great entertainment for tourists. Im not a supporter of using animals as a means of transport, but every country has its own customs.

  64. Oh, get engaged in Venice during flowing out in the one of the popular gondolas sounds like a dream. I would like to use it to explore Venice. I know that is so typical and i'm not oryginal tourist but probably the view from this kind of boat is different and more beautiful than from another, even the most comfortable boat on the world :)

  66. When I was 5-6 years old, me and my parents were on vacation in Egypt. So, I had an opportunity to ride a camel. Furthermore, when I was in Venice I saw a gondola, but I didn't have an opportunity to try this kind of transport. Last kind of transport from this list I saw while being in London. I was really surprised when I saw rickshaw on the road :D

  67. Actually, i really want to go to Peru now haha. I really want to see that boat, maybe not use it but just see it. Also riding a camel sounds great, but i saw many funny videos of tourists falling over and i dont think i want to be one of them :p Gondola is a very romantic kind of transport, but as i heard the smell of the water is really bad so i dont think anybody wants to spend there a date with a lover anymore. In Poland we dont have any special kinds transport. Except that you can take carriage rides in the Old Town in Warsaw. But thats all we got

  68. Very good presentation! I used some of these mease of transport during my trips but I`ve never heard about some of these mease of transport at all. F or example tatora boat or bamboo train- I have to do it! However, I wouldn`t say that elephants can be some kind of transport. It`s more like tourist atraction. Local people never used elephants as a transport. I`m very disappointed that people/ turists are still not aware of tourism industry in Thailand and that riding on elephants is the worst thing that they do when they are on holiday there.

  69. I think that means of transoprt in this article are very interesting, but most of them is toursit attraction. For exemple gondola is very unpractical - there are more practical means of transports.

  70. Very nice presentation, trying all of this means of transport must be very interesting experience. Gondola is really nice and very characteristic mean of transport because ypu can see it in some of countries, mainly Italy. I saw some of these kind of transports for example gondola or camel, but I tried only camel and donkey. Anyway it is amazing experience to try riding on elephant in the jungle, I really want to try it in the future.

  71. Habal-Habal is... quite unusuale mean of transprt. I must say I find it difficult to keep balans while riding a normal bike. I can't imagine to keep it with other people. I am quite interested in how it works...
While I was reading the part of Bamboo train I was once more suprised by the human creativeness. To make train of plant, train with combustion engine... unbelievable!

  72. I find the Bamboo train as being the most unusual off this list. It really is amusing and fascinating, how need is the mother of invention, and even such primitive material- properly used, can be utilized to create an actual functioning train. I feel like the very existance of such creation is a cheek slap for those who believe some environment destroying materials are unavoidable to be used.

  73. Hahahahah Habal-habal is my favourite. I wish i could try it!
And about Rickshaw- i can't believe people are using this. And I mean both sides. Who do you have to be to feel okay about some man carrying the vehicle you're in? And how much time do you need to workout to be able to pull this for a few hours!?

  74. Very interesting post. That’s incredible like people in different culture and environment make different means of transport. Many of these vehicles are surprise to me, I wish I could try a few of them. But I think that Habal- habal isn’t the safest way to travel, it looks very unstable and risky.

  75. I really enjoyed this post! I think it's very educating. I had no idea that there are so many types of transportation. This vehicles are incredibly creative, which is always a pleasant surprise. I would definitely want to try Habal-Habal. It seems a little bit dangerous, but courage is always a good idea. A Gondola is also pretty temtping, but only if you're not afraid of the water or sea-sickness.

  76. It is very interesting because about several means of transport from this presentation I did not know. I think Rickshaws we can find on Polish streets also. The most interesting mean is of course Habal-habal - the most exotic for us. These ways of transport are certainly more ecological than our traditional cars and planes but unfortunately they aren't so fast as our vehicles.

  77. I think that this list and history of transport show people creativity. It shows that people use what nature gives them for moving (animals) or invent new means of transport (totora boat, rickshaw). I agree that using animals is more like sweating but we think like that because we know about alternative without animals. If we lived hundreds years ago we will also use resources given by nature.

Nowadays we create new transport solutions. It is not perfect too. Maybe we do not use animals but we emit too much pollution. We also think about it negatively because we know about alternative like electrc cars. I believe that our technological progress will allow us to create a mean of transport which will be ecological and effective.

  78. I like the Totora boat the most because it has a great design. When it comes to the other ones, some of them look dangerous for example, habal habal. I have never used any of this kind of transport by myself, so they seem kinda exotic for me. To be honest I am not a fan of using animal to going from place to place. It should be banned, especially nowadays when we have so many alternatives and using animals is just cruel and abusive.

  79. I have never tried any of these means of transport, but I would like to get on a bamboo train. I would even help train driver to transport train in case of accident.

In Poland, I saw something similar to Rikshaw. It was a bike with two seats in front of this bike. It was mainly used in late spring and summer to give joy to tourists. I attach a link to a photo.

  80. It is incredible how many means of transport we have on Earth! But as they say - necessity is the mother of inventions I'm impressed by the Bamboo train from Cambodia. This is really helpful for citizens and also attracts many tourist because it is an extraordinary mean of transport. I'm schocked that by using really basic materials people can make a real vehicle!

Single-sex education

A little bit of history Single-sex education was traditional and dominating form of education till 19th century. Almost all schools and universities were single sex, which in almost all cases meant – men’s schools. This situation started to change because of two reasons: emancipation of women (fight for equality) and introduction of massive education. The first mixed-sex boarding school in UK was formed in 1818, it was Scottish Dollar Academy, and in 1878 the first university- University College London, allowed women  to enter on equal terms with men. What is interesting, the first Cambridge collage, which admit men and women was founded only on  1964. Pros and cons The topic of single-sex education is quite controversial. Like always there are pros and cons, some of them are quite irrational, other have a scientific background. The most popular arguments for single-sex education: 1. Boys and girls are learning in the different way, so they need different progr
THE MOST TRUSTED  PROFESSIONS Many people say that their job is important for our society, but is it a trustworthy profession? A market research institute asked people about trustworthy professions. Here you will find its results. The Top Five Most Trusted Professions 1. Firefighters A 2009 poll conducted by market research institute GfK found that firefighters ranked as the most trusted profession in Europe and the United States with 92 percent of respondents fining them trustworthy. Perhaps it’s all in the job description—being required to step into the face of danger every time you head out for an assignment is not just admirable, it’s downright heroic. 2. Teachers In the same GfK poll that lauded firefighters, teachers ranked second with 83 percent. It’s a good sign considering that the people responsible for crafting the minds of our children are deemed trustworthy. “I think every teacher recognizes that they are part of a trusted profession—that parents

Does money spoil people?

Does money spoil people? There is a saying that ‘money spoils people’, which means that people who become rich also start being rude and nasty. Is this true or not? I do not like categorize people, all stories are different. Probably everyone knows someone who is rich and nice person, and someone who is wealthy and horrible…What can determine behaviour of these people? copyright:http://theundercoverrecruiter.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/money.jpg 1 .     First of all how they got their money. Some people are rich because they won the lottery and some of them because they are genius who made a discovery of new, brilliant solution. There are also ones who are rich because they inherit all wealth from their ancestors… It is not a rule, but I think that people who work hard for everything what they have are more stable and realistic than ones, who don’t need to do anything because they got everything for free (without dedication or hard work). They won’t probably understand
