Education as a key to achieving stability in life?

Education is a relative value. Some believe that it is necessary for them to obtain a dream job for other science itself is a pleasure. More and more young people are choosing fields of study, because of their interest in, so they can broaden their knowledge in this field. There are also those for whom getting education is not important.

Emienem

Eminem,( actually Marshall Bruce Mathers III, an American rapper) dropped out of  9th grade after he failed 3 times. He claims he was bored with school and that is why he kept failing 9th grade. So he started to have a career in the rap buisness.

Albert Einstein

Around 1886 Albert Einstein began his school career in Munich. As well as his violin lessons, which he had from age six to age thirteen, he also had religious education at home where he was taught Judaism. Two years later he entered the Luitpold Gymnasium and after this his religious education was given at school.
In 1895 Einstein failed an examination that would have allowed him to study for a diploma as an electrical engineer at the Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule in Zurich.
Following the failing of the entrance exam to the ETH, Einstein attended secondary school at Aarau planning to use this route to enter the ETH in Zurich.
By mid 1901 he had a temporary job as a teacher, teaching mathematics at the Technical High School in Winterthur. Around this time he wrote:

I have given up the ambition to get to a university.

In 1906 he was promoted to technical expert second class. While in the Bern patent office he completed an astonishing range of theoretical physics publications, written in his spare time without the benefit of close contact with scientific literature or colleagues.
Einstein earned a doctorate from the University of Zurich in 1905 for a thesis On a new determination of molecular dimensions.

One more example, who I think is more know or more close to our heart,  Wladimir Klitschko. He is a Ukrainian heavyweight professional boxer.

In the summer of 1996, Klitschko finished Pereyaslav-Khmelnitsky Pedagogical Institute (Ukraine) and was accepted in the postgraduate study program of Kiev University. On 18 January 2001, in a conference hall of Kyiv University of physical science and sports, Klitschko presented his doctoral dissertation and was awarded a PhD in Sports Science. Klitschko speaks four languages: Ukrainian, Russian, German and English.

In conclusion, I introduced three well-known people who have gained fame and I think satisfaction in life, but each of them on a diffrent plane of life. They represent a different view to the issue of education.  For Einstein's science was the foundation of his existence, consumed all his time, which made him happy. He was the type of person who has used his talent to become a genius.
Eminem wanted to take care of the production of music, which I think it goes really well, gaining a bit of education that bothered him as he claimed, so he threw it. He chose a different way of life. Last Wladimir, who is the boxer, despite the fact that boxing is his source of income, this is a surprisingly well-educated person. It is possible that science gives him a sense of pleasure and satisfaction has with personal development.

Wht is your point of view on education ?

  1. To me, pushing yourself to do something you don't really want to, is pointless. If you have a certain goal, you try to make it the every possible way, and if education isn't just another step in achieving that, than I don't see a reason to struggle eg. attending school for 12 years or even more. Don't get me wrong - I wouldn't say education is completely unnecessary, because especially its first years teach us more than just how to read or count. It gives us also some directions for living in a society. But if someone is passionate to something else than studying, I wouldn't depreciate him/her just because he/she doesn't have a diploma.

  2. I think that education in our life is important but not the most important. We should have a general knowledge about the world but when he have the different idea about ourselves we should to strive for an aim. People who didn’t finish their school or pass their A level exam are not less valuable. They are outstanding in their sphere like: sports, science or music. Maybe later if they achive something they have more motivation and more time to educate themselves. A good example is Adam Małysz who passed his A level exam when he finished his ski’s jumping career.

  4. Education is very important in my life. I had bad experience with education in my elementary school and high school. I was a big mistake all that way of education. In my opinion I lost 12 years from my life and one way from this stress, bordrom and stupidity was escape in art. In art I find freedom and openmindness. I become a partner in that game. I was finding, doscovering things in wisdom. No way for learning to much material without any sense. I have learn that less is better then more, I made space for myself, for my personality, feeling, thoughts. I had right demand activity from my theater. To be for everyone means to be for No One. On my art university teachers were just for me. I was in contact with person not only with teacher. It is a story about relation between teacher and student. After this experience I can come back to knowledge. I can learn for pleasure, I can take what I need and want and I can choose the way of my education. I think that this relation is a basic point in good or bad education.

  5. I think that we should remember about two things when we are planning our future. The first thing is something that we are interested in and the second thing is something which will provide us deserving life. We can't do something because our parents or our teachers want us to do. We should feel that it will be good for us, we will do it with passion and enjoy our job. We can be sure that we will feel fulfilled. In my opinion education is really necessary, but not the most important thing in our life. We can see a lot of people around us without adequate education and they are doing something really important, earn a lot of money and just be happy how they live. It doesn't mean that everyone without education will have the same life. The large role plays the good luck. I think they were just in the right place at the right time. Many companies reguires us to have appropriate education. When we really want to do something we should do everything to fulfill our dreams and reach the goal.

  6. In my opinion, it all depends on what you want to do in your life. If you want to be a doctor, or a math teacher in school, studies are necessary. However, if you want to be a football player or a policeman, it is not necessary to have a degree. I think it depends on us, whether we want to learn or not. There are a lot of people which work and earn big money and at the same time they are studying, just for their own satisfaction, even if it is not needed in their work. What's sad that today the degree does not guarantee a good job already. Even being well educated we are not sure if we can find a job. So, I really think that today it all depends on our system of values, ambitions and interests.

  7. I think education is relative value, as it was it the text, because education for someone hasn't the same meaning in comparison with somone else. For example I like car engineering and I felt love with car mechanics, so when I'm reading or watching TopGear or only reading autos magazines I educate myself. It is simple and nice for me despite of it is some sort of education. For my family it's hobby but I see something else, the education. I think everyone know where is their path of education because everyone feel it.

  8. Nowadays education is seen as something necessary to continue living. More and more of us reach degrees. Education spend many years of your life.
In my opinion, far too much. Many students studying out of necessity rather than a real desire to broaden their knowledge. Often, we do it because you have to. Deciding to "some" field of study.
So long learning is good for exact directions, because the humanities allows students to only grow up, rarely giving new knowledge.
The advantage of so many years of people is certainly the fact that it contains a lot of friendships which may remain for a long time or even help you in the future.
Still, I think a lot of people who don't have a higher education are smarter than not only one master and doctor.
Managing your life in the education direction I think it's result from three things. First, a great passion for what is studied and further related plans for the future. And second, the lack of plans for the future, the lack of vision of themselves in a few years, perhaps a lack of dreams and dull following of "any forward '. The third and final reason is what I already mentioned, it's pressure from the environment.
We know many examples of people who dropped out school and on their own ideas go higher than the others. Such people I appreciate the most.
Because today is based on imagination, a good plan and determination in its implementation.

  9. In my opinion, education should help us in our life- as an interesting way to experience the world, develop our fascinations, or something that gives easier way to get a new job.
All various lifestyle, which show us three stars, are good, because people, who chose them, were satisfied and had ideal career for them.
It’s a pity, that people choose the field of study only for well- paid job and a faculty is boring or tiring for them. I study subjects, which are interesting for me and I can’t imagine some situations, when I study something unsatisfying for me.

  11. I think there's belief nowadays that you have to go to university. It's mostly because of our parents who lived in times that it was really a big thing if you had higher education. Today, we hear more and more about people that had passion and became successful without studies. I guess it is very personal thing, if you really don't feel like studying, and it is kind of punishment for you, then I guess you should try to find a different way in life. It's all about to be happy and do what you like.

  12. I agree that education shouldn't be the aim itself but the way to achieve some goal. Otherwise, it is probable that one will get bored and angry about many classes, lectures, tests etc. In my opinion it is better to leave further education when you see you will not be benefiting from it in the future. But we should remember that those 'benefits' can be regarded both as financial and personal.

  13. Education can help. But it’s not requirement of success. Examples in presentation are little bit specific: Einstein lives one hundred years ago, when education system was totally different. Eminem is representant of music world and his specific part, rap, which has roots in poor, excluded habitats. Good examples of todays are Mark Zuckerberg or Steve Jobs, who didn’t graduate from high school but made a hit in business connected with informatics. Their careers can show us, that the most important is creativity, self-abnegation and passion. That can gives us more than diplomas.

  14. In my point of view education is very important piece of our life. I think about the wide notion of education and not only about education connected with school or university ( however this type in majority is the most important to achieve something). But very improtant is also our attitude to life and people, our thirst for knowleadge and developing ourselves. Every way of development matters, and may influence on our life's success,

  15. I think that education is very important but not necessary to achieve success and stability. Certainty, years spent in school and at the university teach us how to live among other people. Education can helps us to find a job but nowadays it isn’t certain. Many people without higher education have a job and family, their life is stability. For me education is very important because I gain a knowledge about things that I interested in.

  16. Despite the fact that there is surplus of people with at least three year degree, pursue of university education is not just something you add to your CV. It is special experience, that can give insight to specific way of thinking. To me it is a way of becoming intellectually adult.
But because almost anyone can get degree in some field, it does not give stability. But it depends on what you study. If there is no job prospects in what is your interest (and therefore you want to study it and get a diploma) you should probably wait until you have some stability. But then again, how can anyone find job before study if almost anyone has already university degree? I do not want to even propose answer, it is beyond my abilities.
But after certain fields of study, you can have life stability with ease. Problem lies in one detail: almost always that kind of study is extremely hard. Education in medicine or engineering are considered as one of the hardest to achieve, but because there are so few how got that far, you have no one to compete against at the job market.
To me, personally, university education is required to be even considered as someone worthy to talk to. In physics and mathematics you are nobody without doctorate and already good list of publications. But it is also, my passion. I can't imagine my life without spending even some short time at daily basis to read some textbook or experiment with something. Without access to university resource base, I could not do it. Besides, I like puzzles and solving problems. I would rather do it at the university for minimum wage, then work at finance job sector. I do not want to deal with ethics at work.
But having a degree should never be something you do for a job. It should be mark of competence is what you consider to be your virtue and interest.

  18. In my opinion, education is very important in our lives. In the labor market there is a great competition and we know that the employer will look for people with the greatest education. Learning makes people developing, they are able to talk with others on many topics. Many people think that it is not worth willing to learn, and so the country does not have a job and will be unemployed. However, I think that is wrong thinking. You have to strive to enhance their knowledge, their horizons.

  19. In my opinion education isn't the most imporatant thing in our lives. There is no point in studying something you are not interested in. While making decision to study or not we should not be influenced by anyone, we are adult so we should make this decision ourself. To study or not, if yes what field of study should we choose. It's our decision to make. A lot of rich people are not educated. The most important thing is to find an idea for life and bring it into our life. If we do something with passion and commitment it will always work and we can find happiness and stability in life then.

  20. For ordinary people education sia a weary importatn think is a door to be happy in the future, is a way to find a new job.
In world of fameus people sportsmans and musician. Education is their only ambition and prestige in their world.

  21. I think education has nothing common with talent. Well-educated people can be less successful than the low-educated. However, the education is very important and it broadens your mind, but in some cases, people simply don't fill in this whole schools' life. The most successful people in the world are autodidact. And in this cases school was something that only was taking them down.

  22. Education is important because learn us not only knowledge like mathematic or biology, but learn children cooperate with others, teaches skills of looking for informations and learning. Maybe If somebody has intelligent parents, who can teach him, then he doesn't need teacher, but not everybody is in this situation.
When I think about some regions in Africa, and what we can do for this people, my first think : build school! And this shows how important is education. Sometimes we don't appreciate this possibility of learning! It seriously great, that we can learn!

  23. In my opinion education is necessary part of our life, we should be grateful that we can learn now a lot of interesting things, but I think that it's also important to expand your passions and i know that sometimes they not related with science. Education take a lot of our time, but if we feel that something is our destiny - like Eminem feel rap music was his, we should drop everything and do what we love, what we want and what will give us a lot of satisfaction.

  24. As for me education is really important - you describe just 3 guys without formal education, but there is much more guys without education and, sadly, without nice work or achievements in their life. I may sound a bit hypocrytic, certainly i'm history student, and it probably won't let me get enormous paid job. Maybe, but i think that money are not the most important thing in my life - i want also myself realisated in job.
Also i think that not everyone should go on studies, like novadays. Society always were divided on tiers and classes. And there is nothing wrong with that - one is made for being teacher, one is made for being farmer and one can be sciencist. However i think that everyone should try to get as high as he is made for.

  25. I don't suppose, but I just know that education isn't any indispensable thing, which you must have if you want to be happy (there's quite popular theory, which tells us that you have even bigger chances for becoming a happy man, if you know as little, as it is possible), stable or even succesful in your life - there are many examples in history that proove it.I always hated to be forced to anything - my mother alawys pushed me in my childhood to read books, so I haven't been reading them; in high school I was forced really hard to learn, so I haven't been learning at all. After high school, when my school and my mother stopped forcing me to anything, I started to read lots of books and learn by my own. I passed my mathura exams once again and I got at the univeristy. I think that noone should be pushed to education - it should be a private decision of each person.

  26. I don't think that school is necessary to acheve the success. Of course it is extremely helpful but not necessary. We have a lot of examples of people that managed to be a successful without even graduate from high school, not to mention a certificate. BUT not all of us are geniuses and we can't just say "what the hell with the school, I don't need it" because mostly that kind of people end up with nothing. And secondly, I do believe that our priority should be studing what we really want to do, what we love and where we picture ourselves in 10 years in.

  27. I personally think that education is very important. The more we know the better we can handle in our life. Without education there would be no greatest achievements and inventions. Education opens our minds and teaches us to explore the world.

Single-sex education

A little bit of history Single-sex education was traditional and dominating form of education till 19th century. Almost all schools and universities were single sex, which in almost all cases meant – men’s schools. This situation started to change because of two reasons: emancipation of women (fight for equality) and introduction of massive education. The first mixed-sex boarding school in UK was formed in 1818, it was Scottish Dollar Academy, and in 1878 the first university- University College London, allowed women  to enter on equal terms with men. What is interesting, the first Cambridge collage, which admit men and women was founded only on  1964. Pros and cons The topic of single-sex education is quite controversial. Like always there are pros and cons, some of them are quite irrational, other have a scientific background. The most popular arguments for single-sex education: 1. Boys and girls are learning in the different way, so they need different progr
THE MOST TRUSTED  PROFESSIONS Many people say that their job is important for our society, but is it a trustworthy profession? A market research institute asked people about trustworthy professions. Here you will find its results. The Top Five Most Trusted Professions 1. Firefighters A 2009 poll conducted by market research institute GfK found that firefighters ranked as the most trusted profession in Europe and the United States with 92 percent of respondents fining them trustworthy. Perhaps it’s all in the job description—being required to step into the face of danger every time you head out for an assignment is not just admirable, it’s downright heroic. 2. Teachers In the same GfK poll that lauded firefighters, teachers ranked second with 83 percent. It’s a good sign considering that the people responsible for crafting the minds of our children are deemed trustworthy. “I think every teacher recognizes that they are part of a trusted profession—that parents

Does money spoil people?

Does money spoil people? There is a saying that ‘money spoils people’, which means that people who become rich also start being rude and nasty. Is this true or not? I do not like categorize people, all stories are different. Probably everyone knows someone who is rich and nice person, and someone who is wealthy and horrible…What can determine behaviour of these people? copyright:http://theundercoverrecruiter.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/money.jpg 1 .     First of all how they got their money. Some people are rich because they won the lottery and some of them because they are genius who made a discovery of new, brilliant solution. There are also ones who are rich because they inherit all wealth from their ancestors… It is not a rule, but I think that people who work hard for everything what they have are more stable and realistic than ones, who don’t need to do anything because they got everything for free (without dedication or hard work). They won’t probably understand
