Different budget means of transport

Different budget means of transport

We all love journeys – travel around the world, learn about new places, meet new people, broaden our minds. There are a few things that can interrupt us in experiencing this kind of adventure - time, or rather lack thereof, obligations, school, work, and probably the most common problem - money. Some of them we have to spend on the journey, sometimes it's the biggest part. Is it possible to reduce the specific portion to a minimum? Of course. If you want to know how - this presentation is for you.

POLSKI BUS

Polski Bus is a private company engaged in the transport of passengers between major Polish cities (Warsaw, Kraków, Gdańsk, Szczecin, Zakopane, Łódz, Kielce, Radom, etc.) and also between European cities such as Berlin, Prague, Bratislava or Vienna in a high standard buses and most importantly - low prices. Everyone who rode the PKS bus they realize that this is definitely NOT a comfortable vehicle. Polish Bus offers us in his coaches modern equipment, comfortable adjustable seats, power outlets under  every seat, free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, facilities for disabled passengers, safety belts and even toilets. In addition to the start of the trip we get a cup of coffee / tea / juice and croissant butter, and the second episode, ice cream, biscuits and water. All at incredibly low prices starting at PLN 1 (+1 PLN per booking). However – usually you get tickets at slightly higher prices, but they are still a price that anyone can afford if you ordered the book early. For example, if you buy a ticket a month earlier without any problem you can buy return ticket from Warsaw to Prague for 75 PLN, 40 PLN to Berlin, to Vienna for a 30 PLN and 10 PLN to Gdansk. Another advantage is that the ticket can be purchased only through the Internet, and the ticket is not a piece of paper that can easily be lost, only the code that you get when you buy your ticket on-line.

MODLINBUS

ModlinBus, very expensive carrier riding bus from Warsaw Central Station - Airport Modlin, introduced a new promotion "Planning - Gain" which gives you an opportunity to purchase via the internet first ticket for each course at a special price 1 PLN.

                                   RYANAIR & WIZZ AIR

Those who fly low-cost airline carriers should ideally be familiar with RyanAir and Wizz Air. Now, when these two powerful companies increasingly compete for a ridiculously low price, you can find cheap flights to the beautiful European cities such as Barcelona, Milan, Budapest, Paris, Rome, Liverpool, and almost all can be bought for less than 5 PLN!

Here is a sample price for Wizz Air at the moment from Warsaw Modlin Airport:
Barcelona – 4 zł
Mediolan (Bergamo) – 4 zł
Malme – 4 zł
Budapeszt – 4 zł
Bruksela (Charleroi) – 4 zł
Eindhoven – 4 zł
Paryż (Beauvais) – 4 zł
Cork – 4 zł
Rzym – 22 zł
Liverpool – 4 zł

But Ryanair had to win this competition, so imposed an even lower price.
Budapeszt – 1 zł
Bruksela (Charleroi) – 1 zł
Eindhoven – 1 zł (styczeń)
Mediolan (Bergamo) – 1 zł
Sztokholm (Skavsta) – 1 zł
Oslo (Rygge) – 1 zł
Paryż (Beauvais) – 1 zł (styczeń)
Liverpool – 8 zł
Londyn (Stansted) – 8 zł
Rzym – 16zł
Bolonia – 39 zł
Manchester – 39 zł
Frankfurt (Hahn) – 39 zł

Don’t believe? Take a look at the sample book

As you can see – you just  have to look around a little to be able to fly for cup of coffee on Monday in Paris, on Tuesday for a pizza to Rome, on Wednesday for the match to Barcelona, on Thursday to fish to Stockholm and for the weekend go by bus to a seaside and do not pay for travel more than 50 PLN!!! Unbelievable, right? Interested in a little journey? Start packing!!!

  1. It looks nice. But... it's not so nice when you start planning your trip. When booking ticket for a cheap airlines plane, usually you have to add airport charge, additional luggage fee (and often luggage is more than in other airlines limited by weight) and paying fee (YES, Wizzair has something like that and I'm pretty sure that they're not the only ones, no matter what method of payment you choose, you have to pay for it).
Another thing is the flight times -the cheapest flights advertised on the front page are quite distant terms and on unattractive days of the week (which is not a big problem). Also it's sometimes hard to find corresponding return ticket in good time and a good price.
We must remember that the promotional tickets can not be returned or exchanged, so the risk is another minus.
The last thing, which usually people don't think of, is a getting from the airport to the destination -in most European cities airports are located far outside the city, and ticket for a special train or bus can cost more than air travel.
So despite the fact that air travel is quicker and more comfortable, I do not think it is cheap travel option. In fact, more economical are buses and trains, which was not mentioned. Promotional tickets for cross-country trains are less common but can be very attractive. Also in many countries of the world you can buy tickets for a week, a month or a few days of travel, and thus ride and visit the country in original and not so expensive way.

  2. I don’t think that it so wonderful that we have read in this article. The problems start when we want to go somewhere and we want to buy this cheap tickets. There isn’t enough place, the ticket’s cost is higher than we have expected and we have to do the online reservations very early, sometimes 8 months earlier. We can’t buy so cheap tickets for the next day, because the price wouldn’t be so attractive. Moreover, the reality seems to be different. I don’t say that Polski Bus or Wizz Air are bad and choosing them is a mistake. I think that they are very comfortable because of their standard, the price can be very affordable and we can reach our destination very fast. Nowadays people travel a lot and they need good means of transport. Wizz Air is a good opportunity for them to travel, broaden the mind and do not spend all the money for going from one place to another. But we can’t go everywhere by them. Often they go to the most famous places and the trip ends in the center of the city. But what can we do if we want to go to unknown place?... It is good when we go to London, Madrid or Paris, but there are many beautiful and not so famous places that people want to see and then they should go there by own car or find some transport from airport or bus station.

  3. Nowadays, as we can read in this article, there is a lot of different cheap means of transport. As for the Polish bus, I can tell you from my personal experience that this is a very good carrier. If you buy the ticket early you can really get the ticket from 1 zloty, but even if you didn't book the trip earlier the price is not very expensive. When it comes to airlines there are some hidden charges suach as luggage fee, paying fee (when you pay by card - you usualy have to use the card to pay), etc. But in my opinion even if you count these fees prices are not very high so it's worth it. I think that if you really want to go to a nice inexpensive trip, this is possible but you need to check out the various options.

  4. So I think this is really wonderful that there are a lot of cheap means of transport like Polski Bus or Modlin Bus. They are very comfortable but are they really so cheap? That is all really only sales pitch. I mean it is not really that you pay only for the ticket. Then it turn's out you have to pay also different additional fees - for the luggage or place by the window. I wouldn't be so confident then. Sometimes you can find a great occasion but it's very rare. Cheap tickets are mostly the last minute ones so you can not plan your trip. And another thing is that you can't choose the desired destination because those buses or planes going only to big cities and popular places, not the little unknown cities. So if you want to relax in the country you better don't count on cheap means of transport.

  5. I really enjoyed your article since I love travelling and I find it quite exciting to travel for few zloty. But there is one thing you have to remember - it is not for everyone. First, when you book this cheap flights you have to be aware you can only travel with hand luggage (if you want to take more you have to pay extra money). In order to avoid booking fees you have to have a mastercard prepaid (for Ryan Air) or Citi Wizz (for Wizz Air). What's more you have to be flexible - as someone mentioned, cheap flights are mostly in the middle of the week. So if you have full time, nine to five work it is not really for you. And the most important thing - if you really want to travel cheap it is good to have friends abroad so you can spend the night at their home.
To sum it up, it all may look like troublesome, but if you really have wanderlust, you will find a way to do that!

  6. It sounds amazing that it is possible to travel by bus or by train for just 1 PLN. Maybe that's what the free market does forcing different companies to compete in order to gain customers. On the other hand, such extremely cheap tickets are often connected with a number of additional payment, restricted travel conditions etc. It is simply another way of coming on the market. And the best example is Polskibus. When it started I was able to go from Warsaw to my hometown for just 2 or 5 PLN. Now the prices are much higher. Taking into account time when I have to travel, it is cheaper for a student to choose PKP. However, as it is public company, the conditions are really poor, especially comparing with new couches.

  7. It's true that bigger part of money is devote for a transport. This article shows rally clearly that it is possible travelling in a beautiful place money for jam. There are many possibilities like Polski Bus-which offer us high standard, like mondern equipment, comfortable seats, free Wi-Fi and even toilets. The prices starting at 1 PLN! Modlinbus offer a new promotion" planning gain" Wizz air give a possibility to fly, f.ex to Rome for only 22 PLN. It sounds great, however, we should book it much ealier. The biggest occasion are in the middle of the weekend or the flight are very early and the return flight from about 3-5 days are really expensive and we must stayed abroaud longer.

  8. I did not know about such alternative, so I am very happy and thankful for shearing that kind of information. But there are many disadvantages, for example you can't use it unless you book tickets early. But still it is very small price to pay for traveling at cost lower than my weekly spending on soda. I will definitely look for something in advance and tell friends. If it actually works that well, then I can't imagine why it couldn't be more popular. But I will wait until my excitement fade, so I will cross-reference all that information with opinion of others.
I know I am very cynical, but it just sound too good to be true.

  9. Nowadays ,different means of transport create more and more opportune to choose suitable and cheapest opportunity to travel. In Poland, as it was mention above, Polski bus , Modlin bus or Wizz air want to attack new costumers by low prices. During last vacation I have opportunity to travel by Polski bus and I experienced all the conveniences which are described on this blog. However, I must agree with other participant of this conversations Often, when we want to take advantage of lower prices ,there There is no place or date of departure are unsuitable. Which is also a frequent, in same “ fantastic “options there are same hidden points, and we are forced to pay same additional money. Cheap traveling options are becoming more and more popular but if you want to be sure that the tour would be a dream, it is worth to pay more money and known that everything will go as we planned .

  10. You present a lot of deforests kind of transport, but we must remember about one aspect of the lowest prices, they aren’t allows true because sometimes air lines publication the promotion with additional terms and conditions for example : airport fee, Baggage Fee after that price is normal.
In Polski Bus you must reservation ticket there mouths before trip, probably in this time you bay a cheap ticket.
One of important think is a travel convenience, in cheap airlines you haven’t got it for luxury people it isn’t comfortable.

  11. I wouldn't be so pessimistic about the hidden costs and poor accessibility of some areas. On the Internet there are some websites lead by tourists-fanatics who are undeniable experts in omitting high additional fees of cheap airlines. Usually they're more than willing to help you, give some advice. Sometimes they even search the web and post the best occasional flight tickets offers, so that other users could buy them! Of course you can't compare the comfort of travelling by eg. WizzAir and Lufthansa, but it's your call to decide whether to spend more or less money on getting to your destination. Bus companies are a nice solution to travel around the country, or the nearest side countries, but I can't imagine going by bus to Spain or Portugal. It's true that budget airfares tend to land on the airports often far away from the destination city, but I wouldn't complain on the prices of airport shuttles – usually they're slightly more expensive than the regular public means of transport. Besides, I find it comfortable that from one airport I have the same distance to different cities (good example are Barcelona and Girona). And if some places are a bit hidden and not so easy to reach them, it's the whole magic of such place!
Travelling far away is expensive and I guess you have to deal with it. I think it's absolutely worth spending a lot of time getting to the place you want to visit. If I didn't believe in it, I wouldn't go to many magnificent places. But maybe you've got to have it in your genes, because my absolute role model of a real traveller is my brother, who managed to get to Estonia by hitch-hiking, spent all his savings to go to New Zealand, and once even caught last-minute to Cuba, deciding to hop on a train to Berlin and got on the plane the following morning!

  12. I heard that cheap means of transport exist, but when i heard the price i can't belive it. I said it is not truth. Now i can see that is right. You can travel to London for 8 pln. This is opportunity which you need to use. But cheap means of transport it is not always useful, because you have to booked tickets much erlier.

  13. This is so amazing! Now I can visit so many places that I could only dreamed of! Thank you, me, for such a usefull information. However, I don't know if it works. Oh, no, wait. I really do because I wrote this presentation and I practiced that kind of traveling. To sum up, excellent presentation!

  14. It's looking good but it's only advertising campaign. Only look know on PolskiBus. You can't find tickets for 1 zł. It's only tactical ploy to accustom customers to this brand. I think we can't be manipulated and we must search another brand and then we can travel for cost of cup of tea.

Single-sex education

A little bit of history Single-sex education was traditional and dominating form of education till 19th century. Almost all schools and universities were single sex, which in almost all cases meant – men’s schools. This situation started to change because of two reasons: emancipation of women (fight for equality) and introduction of massive education. The first mixed-sex boarding school in UK was formed in 1818, it was Scottish Dollar Academy, and in 1878 the first university- University College London, allowed women  to enter on equal terms with men. What is interesting, the first Cambridge collage, which admit men and women was founded only on  1964. Pros and cons The topic of single-sex education is quite controversial. Like always there are pros and cons, some of them are quite irrational, other have a scientific background. The most popular arguments for single-sex education: 1. Boys and girls are learning in the different way, so they need different progr
THE MOST TRUSTED  PROFESSIONS Many people say that their job is important for our society, but is it a trustworthy profession? A market research institute asked people about trustworthy professions. Here you will find its results. The Top Five Most Trusted Professions 1. Firefighters A 2009 poll conducted by market research institute GfK found that firefighters ranked as the most trusted profession in Europe and the United States with 92 percent of respondents fining them trustworthy. Perhaps it’s all in the job description—being required to step into the face of danger every time you head out for an assignment is not just admirable, it’s downright heroic. 2. Teachers In the same GfK poll that lauded firefighters, teachers ranked second with 83 percent. It’s a good sign considering that the people responsible for crafting the minds of our children are deemed trustworthy. “I think every teacher recognizes that they are part of a trusted profession—that parents

Does money spoil people?

Does money spoil people? There is a saying that ‘money spoils people’, which means that people who become rich also start being rude and nasty. Is this true or not? I do not like categorize people, all stories are different. Probably everyone knows someone who is rich and nice person, and someone who is wealthy and horrible…What can determine behaviour of these people? copyright:http://theundercoverrecruiter.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/money.jpg 1 .     First of all how they got their money. Some people are rich because they won the lottery and some of them because they are genius who made a discovery of new, brilliant solution. There are also ones who are rich because they inherit all wealth from their ancestors… It is not a rule, but I think that people who work hard for everything what they have are more stable and realistic than ones, who don’t need to do anything because they got everything for free (without dedication or hard work). They won’t probably understand
