About being single

There are worse things than being alone. But it often takes decades to realize this. And most often when you do, it's too late. And there's nothing worse than too late. - Charles Bukowski Being single may be the worst time of your life, but it can also be the best. For some, being single is loneliness, for others it means freedom and liberation. And what is the truth? How does it look like to be single? Is it really that bad? Firstly, being single is better than being with the wrong person. Life is short, so we can't waste time on people who do not deserve it. Do not offer your emotions to anyone. Do not build a strong personality and confidence on the anger and disappointemnt, you should only keep a relationship that builds you, not ruins you. When you're in a relationship, you put other person's needs above your own. When you're single, you have a right to be selfish! You can do what you want and when you want. You wake up and feeling li

Bachelor and bachelorette parties A 'bachelor' or 'bachelorette' party is an event celebrated shortly before a wedding. It is said to be 'the last night of freedom' although more often than not it isn't actually celebrated on the exact night preceding the wedding, as the choice of alcoholic drinks is popular. There are many ways to name the said event, the most popular being bachelor/bachelorette night, as well as stag night or stag do for men and hen night for women. More and   more often these events extend over longer periods of time with the name 'bachelor weekend' or 'stag weekend'. Statistically, more men than women decide to have those kinds of parties, ergo , there are many more traditions related to the male version of the celebration. There is also a rise, typically for English and American bachelors and bachelorettes, in a 'hen and doe night' when both the bride and groom-to-be attend. USA This tradition is

The ethics of eating. Food and drink prohibitions.

There's a lot of different cultures around the world. They concern different aspects of life, including eating. The style of eating also evolved over the centuries. We know that our genetic ancestors ate raw meat and fresh plants and fruits. But over the years it has changed. We usually eat pre-prepared meat (excluding steak tartare or sushi). But today I want to ask if it is really ethical? In an age when we know that animals have (at least) the emotions, they feel the pain, whether it is appropriate to without a second thought eat their meat? In many countries there's a lot of different food prohibitions often determined by religion and they usually concern meat. For example: Judaism strictly forbids eating amphibians and reptiles, bats, bears, eagles, vultures, ospreys, camels, horses and of course humans .                                                     Anyway the Fore people of Papua New Guinea saw nothing wrong with cannibalism until recently. Nowadays trafficking in organs is spread all over the world.  It is connected with the growing demand for organs in highly developed countries. Thanks to the development of medicine we have a new treatment options, but unfortunately some people see them only as profit. Every tenth organ is illegal. Why it is so common? „Corruption is an essential ingredient and prerequisite for trafficking in organs. The trafficking in persons for the purpose of organ removal on a larger scale would not be possible without the assistance of corrupt police officials, customs officers, officials giving out visa and travel documents, and sometimes off
