Dfferent types of tourism

Nowadays, traveling is becoming more and more popular. Reduction of working time, the development of means of transport, industry and urbanization has made that now tourism is a mass phenomen. There are many different forms of tourism.   One of them is culture tourism. It consists in visiting places of special cultural value. Its aim are   therefore usually the cities, where there are museums, architectural monuments and theaters. Cultural tourism enthusiasts can also make use of the special trails leading through the places associated with a particular type of cultural heritage. In Poland belongs to them, for example, The Trail Eagle of Nests or The Cistercian Trail. A new form of cultural tourism is the bookstore tourism. These are trips to the cities of books - places, full of antique shops and literary festivals. These cities associates International Organisations of Book Towns.              Increasingly frequent kind of tourism is film tourism.

Single-sex education

A little bit of history Single-sex education was traditional and dominating form of education till 19th century. Almost all schools and universities were single sex, which in almost all cases meant – men’s schools. This situation started to change because of two reasons: emancipation of women (fight for equality) and introduction of massive education. The first mixed-sex boarding school in UK was formed in 1818, it was Scottish Dollar Academy, and in 1878 the first university- University College London, allowed women  to enter on equal terms with men. In Poland we start school, when we have 7 years – primary school. In 7-9 years we learn how to write, read, count. When we have 11 years - we learn the basic information from a variety of subjects like math, Polish and literature, history, culture. Then, when we have second primary school (13-16 years old). In some second primary school we can choose subjects with the higher level than normal – class profile. But not in everyone Secondary primary school we have profiles. After this part of education we have GCSE (General certificate of secondary school). Next schools are – to choose: college, technical school and vocational school. College: in age 16-19. Every class has a special profil. After 3 yeras of education in college we have exam „A” level. This exam allows us to move to the next stage of learning.. Technical school: for years (16-20). Why do so many people study in Poland?

Student’s life is for many people one of the greatest experiences . The most valuable friendships often arise in the student 's environment – among people you learn together , you create projects , go on holidays. Moreover, studies enrich emotionally and socially more than working in a   company . Nowadays the opportunity to study abroad is becoming more and more popular and easier. The main reasons are open borders between countries and widespread knowledge of foreign languages - mainly English. There are many advantages of studying abroad, but should we leave Poland? 1.                   Universities in Poland offer a wide range of studies .
